Points, Assists, Rebounds, Steals, Blocks, FG%, 2-%, 3pt%, FT%, PER, TS%, WS, PPP

he is shooting an insane 49% from three with a 66 TS%

dude has turned into a poor mans klay thompson... maybe a middle classed mans klay thompson

Things Klay does better right now then Harris is the quickness of his shot, defense, and maybe willingness to take "bad" shots. Other then that Joe Harris has develop and turned into a player that probably nobody projected him to be. If Harris can ever get his trigger to the same speed of Klay while maintaining effectiveness tho, WOOOOO watch out.

It makes me wonder what kind of numbers he would put up if we told him we NEED him to take 15-17 shots a game. Don't want him to do that obviously but his ability to shoot and finish are just really high level right now.

Joe Harris is second in the NBA in 3-point field goal percentage (48.2) and is tied for 17th in 3-point field goals made (92). Among players with at least 100 attempts, Harris is second in above-the-break 3-point percentage (48.1) and catch-and-shoot 3-point percentage (49.7). Among players with at least 200 field goal attempts, Harris is fourth in the NBA in effective field goal percentage (63.7). Harris is fourth among active NBA players in career 3-point field goal percentage (41.8).

Every time I watch him recently I have thoughts like that. What if more of the offense ran through Joe, like it does through the two PG's? After all, he's so efficient and useful at almost everything he does, and I love how he squares up so well shooting on the move.

For example, a lot of guys clearly want to take it all the way to the rim, and that's fine when it's there, but sometimes it's not quite there. In that case Joe has a very nice sideways dribble-drive to get spacing, coupled with a lovely short jumper from maybe 5-10ft out. Maybe that's an oldskool shot or something, but I don't see it that much, and it seems to catch a lot of defenders flat-footed.

I think it's all but a forgone conclusion that Harris is selected to compete this year.

The Nets should have ample representation this year at all star weekend...maybe not on Sunday (I think we're a year or so away from seeing a Net in the game tbh) but on Saturday night Joey Buckets, Spencer Dinwiddie, and Jarrett Allen should be there for the 3pt shootout, Skills challenge, and rising stars game. Kurucs might be in that game too.

It’s actually five.

We have the most representation in the league for all-star weekend. Dinwiddie would’ve defended his skills championship in Charlotte if he didn’t get injured.

Yeah! Too bad he went down, otherwise a full starting Brooklyn 5 in Charlotte!

Love this quote, and the fact that it got picked up in the national articles about his 3-pt contest win:

Joe Harris wrote:"I've said it a lot this weekend that a lot of guys in this league have got a unique path," Harris said. "It sometimes takes guys longer than others. Some guys come in right away and are able to contribute. But I think you look at the makeup of our Brooklyn Nets team, and it's a lot of guys that were sort of cast off and had a second opportunity. I personally was one of those guys, and I got lucky going into a situation, going to a Nets organization that had such a strong value and emphasis on culture, skill development, and I'm sort of a byproduct of that system."

I gotta say this, tho-- I have never before seen this level of-off-the-charts-magnificent, gentle annihilation.

You're not really getting the whole thing there are you, silly geese? Nothing wrong with that, but please DO check yourself afore yon recken thineself, at least... please?

Joe Harris is such a quality guy and player. He is a walking talking great example of the Nets culture and values. I really hope he stays for his whole career.
