Crowder had like 3 blown fast break layups that turned out to be assists

My understanding is he's an inconsistent offensive player. But he has all the tools.. athletic, nice stroke. His efficiency numbers are all over the place on small samples through his NBA opportunities so I don't think anyone knows just how good or bad he is on that end.

I gotta say, it was refreshing to not have Blakeney out there. Would rather Alkins out there than Arci or Shaq, though.

So you are saying he could potentially be the next E'Twaun Moore?

I still don't understand why we don't run ton of pick and roll/pop with Lavine and Markkanen. It's always Lavine and carter, I don't get it.

The way our offense is, it's not good for Markkanen. I don't like it.

It's really disheartening that we will play players , who will go stretches of games , 1 week, 2 weeks, etc and they don't contribute anything. No steals, poor defense, no scoring etc as a solid bench player you should have at least 1 game a week where you contribute something great in a game. And the stars should be contributing every game with maybe a bad game once every couple weeks.

Why did all starters including Lavine and Markkanen played less than 14 minutes in the 1st half?

Maybe Boylen saving them for the 2nd half?

Lauri looked completely lost with that transition defense.

The 2 plays we did where Lavine and Markkanen pick and roll/pop, both worked like a charm but then we went away with it Dunn trying this thing and then turned it over.

Are we starting to see what kind of player Lauri is or is it just from his time off from the injury? That lack of defense is crazy.

It's because he didn't think anyone else wouldn't be back but when he realized, it was too late.

We need to have atlaest 10 pick and rolls/pop a qtr with Lavine and Markkanen and you will see both playing good and our offense would look better.

I think it's highly unlikely. Moore is a 39% career 3 point shooter, Selden would have to come along way in that regard. Moore also higher IQ, better handler/passer.

But Selden is still a bit of an unknown. Didn't get heaps of opportunity in Memphis. *If* he can prove he's a plus shooter (and his mechanics are decent), find a way to utilize his athleticism offensively a bit more on offense, and play good defense, he could be a very capable role player.

He was a 5 star HS recruit, so potential is there, just never put it together.
