Would love to see him develop some post moves. If he can get you 8-12 off the bench consistently, man, he'd be a huge piece

I wouldn't say that. In addition to his near 5 Blocks a game, also he's producing almost that many Assists.
I see Williams as a walking Double-Double, and with 5 Assists and 5 blocks per game. 10-10-5-5.

Agreed. This Kid will be Starting, in 2 seasons. Hopefully, it's for us.

lmao 10-10-5-5 average.

Ideally he gets a lot of run this year in Maine, joins the Celtics when they have practice time. Maybe gets another 200-400 minutes in Boston the rest of the way, gets into a playoff game or two for a couple minutes.

Next year plays 75 games, 12-15 mins a game. Never takes a jumper or attempts anything that isn't a dunk, putback, or layup.

Year three he comes out and starts splashing 3s from the corner and is the MVP with a 20-12-6-3 line.

Lol. I was being conservative.
I can see him doing that, though.

I hope he can be with the team for the game against Golden State. It would be good for him to feel the intensity....even if he doesn't play.

Agreed but they shouldn't of let people in, I literally got here, sat down, they asked us to rise for the anthem and then said game was postponed. Some of these people traveled quite a ways for it. Sad. Nut William's was cool so that was worth it

Damn. That sucks.
What's the name of that bigger arena? Is it Cross?

Yes and it sat idle for 2 years after the portland pirates took off and replaced with a team from a lower league. Must be contract stuff Cause they certainly would benefited from a move like that.

I bought an ESPN+ subscription, just for these Maine Red Claws games.
Sucks.

Bolded is key to me. He really just needs reps to figure out where the heck to be on the court - on both ends. Dude is in no-man's land most of the time. His recovery time on D is phenomenal, so it's hidden a little, but he's mostly lost - as expected. If/when he gets a better feel of where to be, look out. Offensively, you can see him going thru the progressions in his head: where's the ball? where do I go set a screen? ok, screen set, try to roll. Again, just more and more reps to get all of that being more natural. If he gets it, he's a monster, if not, he's the tantalizer eternal. Timelord needs time.

The Cross Arena is about a two minute walk from me, I wish the Claws played there. Still haven't been to the Expo for a game - I hate driving most places in Portland. Hopefully one of these days they'll move to the better venue.

I hate having to be this guy's hater, but what is with this binky stuff? He's sub-Yabu level as a prospect.

50/50 he ever reaches Theis' level.

I'll see myself out.

Wow, sub-Yabu? He needs to completely learn the game of basketball, which he may never do, but his physical tools are way past dab & arrow.

He's already got a good feel for the game, with a high BBIQ.
