Celts do not need him scoring 25-30pts per game. They need him contributing a consistent 15-20 off the bench with solid assist and rebound numbers. The Celtics have a superstar in Kyrie that is the head of the snake. Kyrie needs Hayward/Tatum/Horford to be the 3 guys that consistently produce to help take some of the pressure off Kyrie. Then you still have Morris/Brown/Rozier that can have nice scoring nights as well. Baynes/Smart are crucial, but not from a scoring perspective. They can impact the game positively and score 0 points.
great win last night. Praying that's the turning point in the season. I still have my doubts that Rozier & Brown are cool with being complimentary guys off the bench every night. I actually thought Brown & Rozier were good last night and played a nice role....the big question is are they okay with their roles being 18-24mpg and not getting too many shots??? Hmmmmm
Great post, ddb.
Agree with all of it.
Sure hope that was finally the turning point & CONSISTENCY ensues.
Mook has been a more consistent producer all year, if you're talking about points, than anyone other than Kyrie.
