It is better now than it was a few years ago. Some pretty good players got valuable time in the G-League, like Clint Capela. It is going to be much better i 5 years when every team has its own affiliate and there are more two-way players.

Yep, it's definitely better. Basically still have to take any numbers with a grain of salt, though. Like summer league. If you stand out, still means nothing. If you DON'T stand out, it's not a great sign, but it could mean nothing as well - you could be a great role player getting hampered by your teammates. Like I said, wasn't too serious about my griping...

I think that it does help the more serious young players.
Avery Bradley went down there, some years ago, and did alright when he came back to the big leagues.
