The Thunder are said to have interest in Burks as they scope out the market for a backup wing, according to league sources. Oklahoma City has a $10.9 million traded-player exception to use to absorb a salary. The Thunder have also inquired about Hawks forward Taurean Prince, who I reported was available last month on The Ringer NBA Show. In addition to the Thunder, league sources say the Sixers and Blazers have expressed interest in the 3-and-D forward.

I think a deal for Prince exists. I’d be ok with lowering pick protections or including Diallo

Wayne Ellington could be traded for that fake 2nd and the 47 year old we have draft rights on. This move would get the Heat right under the tax line and give the Thunder another wing.

If they are indeed interested in Burks, that tells me that they'll probably trade both Patterson and Abrines to make up for the additional money. I don't want that.

Prince seems more of a Presti target: Young, still cheap. I wonder what their asking price will be.

Second plus diallo? Svi has had some moments that make him more than a throw in.

If that's the best deal out there at the deadline, yea I would probably do it.

I think Burks is more of a buyout type situation (similar to Wes)

I keep trying to put a 3 team deal together where Atlanta gets Abrines, Knight, Diallo, and a future Houston 1st. OKC gets Prince. Houston gets Baze and Carter

I want OKC fan feedback... if this somehow was possible would you do it, or rather stand pat

Adams + Ferguson + Diallo + promise our first on draft day for AD

Abrines and/or Diallo + seconds for Ross

Healthy enough Roberson returns, Wes Matthews added on buyout market

Burks doesn't really excite me unless its part of a secondary move. If we were looking for another big and end up trading patterson for burks that would mean another move has to happen.

Do you mean that we promise them this years first on draft night? we can't really do that.

AD is out of reach until hes within reach.

Looking at the future tax bill I think the Thunder value Diallo's contract numbers. If we move him it will be for something that is valuable.

I think Patterson and Abrines are on the block not because of their play but because of their contract. I wonder what is actually going on with Abrines and if we can count on him in the playoffs.

Anyone left worth trading for? By worth trading for, I mean someone that moves the needle enough to put us in position for the second seed and WCF? I don't see anyone that does anything but very marginally improve the team.

Also, Schroder has had a great month, I would not trade him. He's carrying that bench. I would really like a secondary ball handler and shooter beside him though that can actually defend.

Abrines being MIA makes makes me think he's already packed his bags and is about to be shipped out.

Yes. The following would be an upgrade and they all seem to be on the block for one reason or another.

Prince
Lamb
LeVine
Bogdanovic
Ross
Ariza
Satoransky
Gallinari
Temple
Saric
Randle

I think Wes Matthews on a buyout is a pipe dream (I’d be glad to be wrong).

He can go west and all but be assured of a ring. I doubt he turns that down

Can add :
Mirotic
E'twaun Moore

Don't think Sato is on the list (well the Wizards needs to make a decision on him since Wall is out for at least a year)

Give me Ross and I'm happy!

Will LAC buy out Muscala or chandler? Royce said presti has always liked chandler.

That'd be 5 years too late.

The 76ers just got pretty stacked with that Harris trade.

Return to Oklahoma City Thunder
