She broke the George trade so that’s a good source

He's a poor rebounder for his size and position, and was getting killed defending the PNR. I'm not sure how he would fit with this team.

It's mostly because we need depth. We have one back up C and one PF. That's clearly not enough if someone gets hurt.

Go ask clipper fans what they thought of him and I’ll think you’ll see we aren’t just being mean.

Would he be OK with that role though?

Well he'd defininitely have one infront of lets say Toronto. They are just crowding their bench right now.

Ibaka, Siakam, Leonard, Anunoby, Gasol, Green, all of them playing forward or center positions.

We have Noel, Adams, Patterson and Grant, 2 of which are playing exclusively center spot and cant space the floor anyhow.
One of them gets injured and we are screwed.

What is the possibility of Wilson chandler getting bought out?

Apparently, no one is good enough for the OKC bench. Bradley is trash, Farried is trash, Kanter is trash, Morris doesn't play any defense so he's trash too, Schroder's actually having negative impact on the team, even when he scores 25, everyone is trash...

Who exactly would be a good fit for our bench? Vinnie The Microwave Johnson? Luis Williams? I'm pretty sure there would be something wrong with them too...

I think most here want Morris. Ellington would have been nice too. Wes Matthews is another.

Unlike the rest of this board, I am being realistic about our options. Everyone here wants starters to sign as a backups. These guys, like Ellington or Matthewes, want a starting jobs, or heavy minutes, as they are playing for their next contracts and their names is on the line. They are not getting that here, playing behind Westbrook, Ferguson and George. So, I am looking at the other, more realistic options...

He makes a ton sense. The Clippers are so weird. They don't know what they want to do. They have a roster that has enough depth to enter the playoffs. But, I don't know if they want to lose their lottery pick to go lose 4 straight to the Warriors.

He hasn't played a game for them yet. Which is a sign that he might be bought out. He was the 6ers starting PF this year and shot 39% from 3.

There just isn’t ever going to be consensus on a message board. Fwiw I wouldn’t be vehemently opposed to giving naders minutes to a guy like bradley. I dont know that it makes a huge difference either way but I don’t want him being treated like a sixth man.

I think we could give Morris a decent amount of minutes. George and grant could spare some minutes. He could have all of Patterson’s minutes. We are a better team than the lakers. I don’t think he’s going to get much more than that in LA or Toronto. He’ll be behind Siakam and Ingram, James and Kuzma. Maybe he doesn’t want to live in okc for the next few months but I think okc has as much to offer as the other teams.

I liked Chandler couple of years before, but recently, in the last year or two, the guy just plays bad....

I bet Michael Jordan could help the 2nd unit.

I don't know how anyone can look at Bradley and say he is trash. He scored 33 the other night. Dude was cooking. I like Faried, but he was bought out to go to the Rockets. I also believe Patterson is a better fit for what we want to do. Kanter you cant play him against the Rockets and Warriors. But, he would be very helpful in a series against Denver or San Antonio.

I like Morris. I think he brings an edge to this team that's not needed but would add a great punch. He can also play both the 4 and the 5, so he would be an insurance policy on the entire front court plus sometimes when you are pushed by better payers on your team you become a better player.

The Thunder have $4,498,536 remaining on their tax payer mid level. Burton might get a portion of that. This additional salary will also be taxed at a rate of $4.5 to every $1 spent.

If Morris has any brain left, he'll sign with us. Top team, plenty of minutes for him, as the competiton on his position is very weak. He could easily get 25-30 minutes with us...

Have you seen the guys TOR, PHIL, HOU, IND & MIL have signed?

Those are contending teams. Then you want me to get excited about signing the leftovers that really don't do much in the way of giving us a better chance against GSW.

OKC has dropped the ball. The contenders around us got stronger. We haven't.

I think Houston would be a great fit for Morris, he could get a lot of minutes there.

I would also like Chandler. If Roberson does not come back this year we have no (playoff-) capable backup of George. Chandler can play both forward positions which makes him a really great fit.

Morris or Chandler would be really great, we have minutes and a good shot at a deep playoff run to offer.

That is not true and I wouldn't mind having anyone of those players on our roster, but there are some good reasons why said players could potentially be of no big help:

Faried: His best position (and the only one where he should really see playing time) is the center position and he is worse (especially at defense) than Noel.
Kanter: He has shown that he is unplayable against our toughest opponents( especially Houston and Utah).
Bradley: Might help, but I assume he would be played too much (like in LA). If he would take any of Fergusons minutes away I would not like that.
