GT: Nets vs. Blazers 2/21/19 7:30pm EST

Post#1 » by MrDollarBills » Thu Feb 21, 2019 4:12 pm

The fight for the playoffs begins now as the Nets cannot afford to play like they did heading into all star break, or else we'll be in serious trouble. Instead of having a cushion, we lost multiple games to teams that we should have beaten and now every game will be a playoff game from now til April unless we can create serious separation.

The best way to avoid embarrassment? Protect home court.

Tonight's Action:

BKN +2

O/U 230.5

Hard to gauge how the Nets will come out following the break. I most likely will opt for the in game bet tonight.

Either way, there are no more excuses for this Nets team. The team is now 100%. Time for the young Nets to earn it.

Bad MAtchup... i think we put up a fight but lose by 6-8 points. Lillard and McCollum always kill us an Nurkic has really improved.

I think need the protland trio of napier/crabbe/davis to play with extra spunk and russell to carry us again to get the W.

being at home helps, but after the break portland will be rested

We're still missing Dinwiddie so not 100% yet. Getting there though. Portland is tough but we should compete.

Ahhh yesss finally we get a game, I was getting a little bored. We must go out with a bang this 2nd half of the season.

We're 2 games ahead of 7th and 2.5 ahead of 8th, we might lose some but I don't see any of those teams going on some crazy winning streaks, I think we hold on to the 6th spot.

We play HEAT, Pistons, Wizards and Hornets a total of 6 times, we have to win most of these games because these are the teams we're fighting with for position. We play ATL, CLE and Dallas as the only low level teams, we must win these games. Every other team we will have to put up a fight, now we will really see what this team is made of. I just hope Pacers can hold on to the 3rd spot.

The Nets cannot escape seeing Kanter. Geez.

Although, I think we could take a look at him this summer depending on what Ed does and what kind of roster we end up finishing out with. I could see him wanting to sign here due to our culture.

Rondae can sit now. He’s trying too hard.
