He wont get it, he just got dominated and he has never been a huge draw.

didnt know that so i doubt its on the same level

Dana has beefs with half the roster.

That's true of most of the welterweight division, the call out after the immediately previous fight being exhibit A. He has one with the 2nd baddest man on the planet Colby Covington too.

Bernman wrote:Usman's talent has been obvious from the beginning. Some just doubted him because he fought tactically and didn't have finishing power. But he had damaging power and was always in control of fights. That wins too, probably more often.

He forced Woodley to have to do too much while not giving him the opening he craves. Normally Woodley has benefited from being able to focus on one aspect of the game with a one-dimensional opponent (Maia, Till), or gotten to sit back against a fellow counter fighter he could be more disciplined than with that style (still arguably lost to Wonderboy). Usman got in his face, put volume on him, moved his head to avoid the counter bomb, and chained the aspects of MMA together. Woodley couldn't keep up.

He might have the best gas tank I’ve seen. It’s not like striking, grappling like that is exhausting and he was landing shots constantly. Goddard should be embarrassed for standing them up two or three times when Usman was clearly working

Maybe if his name was Denise instead of Dennis.

I don’t think there’s anyway Jones loses, but Smith is going to come forward.

Usman heeded Marc Goddard's (the best in the biz per this board's consensus) advice though and started teeing off on Woodley at the end of the 4th rd. I certainly enjoyed that.

Was Askren hit more than he had been in his whole career combined?

Jones is lucky he didn't get called for the first illegal strike.

Nvm. Sad fight for Smith, but he'll earn points for that.

Can’t believe you’re falling for his persona. He’s the Lebron of MMA. Totally manufactured

Cody not only brawls with anyone, and not only drops his hands to do it, he also leans his head into your fist as he throws his right hand, which makes it more hilarious when he predictably gets finished while doing it.

The title fights ended up pretty uneventful, like I thought they might.

Sad that there is any dispute for Lawler/Askren, but you really can’t just let your arm go limp and hang on the mat.

Yea people will think I'm biased but I don't see a huge controversy with the Askren/Lawler fight. He went limp and by the way wasn't even attempting any defense anyway. Idk what Herb was supposed to do.
