At least his court vision improved somewhat. Jerome doesn’t look confident at all. He just had a big game in the g league

I just hate when he gets tunnel vision (which is pretty much anytime he has the ball) then gets too deep under the basket, either throws up a terrible shot or throws the ball away. Even though it was garbage time, he missed open teammates a lot for passes. If he focused more on driving and being a playmaker at times, he'd maximize the little skills he does have on offense and could possibly keep him in the league.
And yeah, Jerome doesn't look quite ready for the NBA yet. Definitely needs to work on his confidence. But at least he have Shamet playing the role Jerome should be playing. But, Jerome could end up being the Clippers younger version of Lou where he's instant offense off the bench in the future with Shai and Shamet being the starting backcourt for now/future

With the exceptions of the Minny game and the Denver game it seems like the team is letting up a few less points even in losses.
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point.

The thing that I do not get with Jerome is why he is not more of a lights out shooter from the free throw line. Its the same line in every league. It is probably too small a sample size so far. I remember in the years Chauncy Billiups was cut from a lot of teams I would notice how smooth his FT stroke was so its something I look at in other players.

the inside-out game I've been begging for
kick out for the open 3
not just to Shamet--everybody benefited
Lou, Shai, JaMychal
finally looking for Shamet though
and like Doc said, when he's not touching the ball, it means the ball's not moving enough
and that's just what happened in our 19-point 3rd quarter
just like JJ--when he's hitting it opens up the floor for everybody else
this was almost as much fun as watching the Lakers get skunked by the worst team in basketball last night
now let's TCB ourselves tomorrow and make my season complete
any year we finish ahead of the Lakers is a good year

G-League is such a waste
Ballmer spending millions just to give Jerome somewhere to practice shooting the three-ball

Might just be a rhythm player who’s not really going to get the opportunity here. Nothing against him but wouldn’t be against swapping him for another SF prospect at the draft.

Not dogging Rome--although Shamet hit the ground running in the NBA and didn't need remedial shooting class. I was dogging the G-league. I was never a fan and never blamed Sterling for not investing in it. Even Ballmer had to be dragged into it. IMO, it's a huge expenditure for marginal return. Shooting practice for our 15th man.
Yes, it benefits the bottom half of the rosters of crap teams and so raises the overall quality of the league a bit. But for a winning team, it doesn't do much. You could get most of the same benefit with each team having a practice/taxi squad like the NFL, at half the cost.
You could buy Robinson his own gym for what it costs to run a team each year.
