Every freaking time we've played the Nets the last 3 years they look like a clearly better team than us. Adams is a waste of space.

The Nets always play us well. Even in the past few years when they really sucked, they'd play us well. Didn't they sweep us last year?

I'd give Noel a quick breather then bring him back to close the game. Also, I would love it it Donovan left Burton in the game after this timeout, but knowing his dumbass he'll bench him for Felton or some other nonsense.

It kind of feels like we have two good really good all stars for the first time this season.

Ferguson feels like he’s hit the rookie wall...again.

Feels good to see Russ playing like this. High basketball IQ, shooting well etc.

Good win. Great to see Burton out there. Hopefully he gets a lot of minutes between now and the post season, as I think he can be an X-Factor given experience. Definitely a dynamic player on both ends.

X factor that's a lot but since Roberson won't come back and we need some bench, he can be very useful.

Im not thinking 15-20ppg or anything, I mean a guy who can come in make a few key defensive hustle plays, or bring a spark of energy on offense for a quick 4-8 points. You know, those quick bursts that can turn a game.

The real X factor is which bloody Schroder turns up.

Anyone still trying to argue that adams isn't slow on D, bad in defending the pnr, and far below average as a rim protector? Or do I still not know what I'm seeing?

And yes, burton has consistently been impactful when given a chance. Makes 0 sense what they've done with him.

This team can be a team that no one looks forward to playing in a playoff series. That has been dependent on both Russ and PG playing well at the same time and that has not happened at all this season. Fortunately, this game gave a nice glimpse as to what that could look like.

I hated any potential matchup with Denver in the playoffs, but if both guys are playing well at the same time, Denver would be in big trouble. It will be interesting to see how the season winds down. First it looked like 50+ wins was a lock. Then 50 games was a long shot. Now it’s a possibility again :dontknow:

Note about Burton: I like the energy and defense he brings off the bench, but he can be a gunner at times. He’s never seen a shot he hasn’t liked yet. Sometimes thats good on drives....other times..
