Jordan Bell Suspended 1 Game After Hotel Purchase Charged To Mike Brown's Account

Jordan Bell was suspended for 1 game after it was discovered that he made a purchase at the team hotel in Memphis that would eventually be charged to Mike Brown's account. The item or the amount remains unclear.

Hotel rooms are paid for by the team, but incidentals such as snacks and movies get charged to a personal card as part of an employee's per diem.

This was not the first time that Bell has charged an item on someone else's account, according to a source.

There is zero chance this is a misunderstanding.

They wouldn’t suspend him for a first offense. Or a 2nd. Or who knows.

If they got to the point they had to actually fine him a game check and publically humiliate him, it must have been bad

This made me curious, so I looked it up. NBA players get $133/day per diem on the road, but most of their food/snacks are paid for anyway so they can pocket a lot of the money.
