Nothing else matters.

I'm in a similar boat, at least for the 1st round pick.

Definitely cannot draft a C in the first round given the roster construction.

The only way a PF makes sense is if one of Gordon/Isaac gets moved, which probably isn't likely either.

So best point or wing prospect available at 16.

With Zion, Morant, Barrett, Reddish, Culver and Hunter seemingly making up the top 6, the odds are extremely likely that the Magic will be able to choose from one of the White, Langford, Garland, Porter Jr, NAW and K. Johnson group.

As far as the 2nd round pick goes, just pick the BPA regardless of position. Even if it's a center, they can maybe replace Birch in a year.

Talen Horton-Tucker is the most WeltHam pick imaginable. 6'4, 235 lbs with a 7 foot wingspan.

I wouldn't mind it. He's really young too

I think this draft is going to be similar to 2016 in that I think there will be a consensus top 5 or 6 guys that will go in some particular order, but there will be high variability in terms of teams' big boards after that. The mocks are reflective of that right now and it makes sense; the draft after the top of the lottery isn't that inspiring. After maybe pick 10, I think the draft probably...flattens out... 8-)

Carsen Edwards is a 2nd rounder in a lot of the mocks right now, but I could easily see some team in the mid-first round picking him in the teens; I wouldn't even be upset if it were us. John Hammond doesn't care about mocks or consensus picks. He bucked them when he picked Thon Maker at 10 in 2016. That same draft, Skal Labissiere fell all the way to 28 despite mocks having him in the lottery all season. But Hammond also likes to take swings in this part of the draft.

Also 60% free throw shooter. Definitely drafting him. The FO loves non shooters in the draft

I also like Ponds. He reminds me of a young Lowry. Tough, quick, he can shoot from anywhere, and he finds the open guy. Some might say he's undersized, but he knows how to use his body to create space/separation from defender. He's strong and can shoot lights out when hot. He would be great in the 2nd or undrafted.

I still say Waters. He'd shred those high double-teams TOR uses against us with such success. Excellent perimeter shooter. Talent of a lottery pick, just not the ideal size.

Anybody see a scenario where Hammond and Weltman swing for the fences and select Jalen Lecque with our 1st round pick? This kid has a lot of ability and upside!

If he were to play for NC State this past season he would have been a lottery pick IMO!

They are known for brave picks so why not. Thing is we dont know how will mocks look like after combine. There are still under the radar players who will gain some traction. For example i think Louis King is also interesting
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

We need guards that can handle the ball.

Kabengele is someone I like, we need shooters and play makers but I really like what he brings.

He is expected to be a late 2nd or undrafted, if we have interest, we could buy a late SRP or invite him to the summer league.

Aubrey is an elite shooter if he gets in rhythm. Reminds me of human torch. That’d be so much fan and excitement.

not a fan of Herro. seems too 1-dimensional. Little reminds me as you said, of a smaller AG. And Horton-Tucker is a bad shooter. would rather NAW or Romeo Langford
