Draymond Green Credits Losing Weight With Improvement In Play

Draymond Green has lost 23 pounds in the last 6 weeks after getting called out by general manager Bob Meyers.

“Draymond, I’mma tell you something you may not want to hear. If we’re going to win a championship, you’ve got to get in shape," Green recalls Meyers telling him in a March 6th discussion.

Green cut out alcohol and fried foods from his diet.

“I knew I wasn’t in good shape. But I also know if anybody knows how to get in shape and get in shape quick, I know how. I’ve been doing it all my life," said Green.

Green has shot 48.3% from the field and 37.1% from 3 since the All-Star break.

The Clippers have also shot just 36.6% on attempts Green has defended over 3 playoff games.

Did you read the arctile? His play has improved since getting in shape prior to that and being out of shape he was below average this is a definite difference
