So I didn't see it, but 2 judges scored it 29-28 for Modafferi over (Antonina) Shevchenko, agreeing on all the rounds. The other judge had it 29-28 for Shevchenko, disagreeing on every round...

SPOILER

***
Damn, it looked like Oleneik was going to take him him standing! lol Those are legitimately the widest punches I've ever seen thrown in an MMA fight. And the standing hammerfists!

If Oleinik had actually TKOd Overeem, Oleinik > Overeem > Badr Hari > Schilt = Oleinik all-time striker.

How is it possible that Roxanne wins fights?

Overeem's defensive standup is just so bad now. Oleneik's punches were so slow and coming from as wide as you can get. Yet Overeem almost got caught. I miss the good old Ubereem days.

Because she's better than some other fighters.

It's never been good in MMA. His defense was always to turtle which worked well enough in kickboxing with the boxing gloves but in MMA, he would try to turtle but not move away from the attack and with those small gloves, it's how he gets caught.

He still puts up the turtle guard but now he also does use more movement to get out of trouble. The problem is when he turtles, he doesn't move and when he moves, his head is completely exposed. I was almost expecting Overeem to get caught by those ridiculous winging punches from Oleneik, as bad as they were.

I lost $200 on Antonina Shevchenko, what a terrible performance. Anyone that loses to Roxy should get cut, and I don't want to hear about how much Roxy has improved and how well liked she is....she's terrible. But to her credit, she knows this, and works with what she knows best. Antonina head movement was non existent, managing distance was awful, and so was the TDD.

Ended up betting $750 on one fight to make up for my $200 loss. So glad Overeem won. Never placed that much on a fight before but that's how petty I was. And since no one I know watches MMA, this is the only place I can rant. Seriously. **** you Antonina. God bless you, Overeem.

Yes but that’s how upset I was, I have a serious problem. I mean, 750 is dumb, let alone on ufc St. Petersburg ffs lol

I bet 4k on the NBA finals once. I bet on 3k on Curry to win the Finals MVP and the Cavs to beat the Warriors for 1k. If the Cavs won, I would have won 4k to break even. If Curry won the Finals MVP I would have won 7k. One of those results had to happen.
I thought it was low risk to get 3k...Iggy won the MVP that year.
I don't bet anymore lol.

I quit gambling because I always end up chasing. Not like Mouse did in order to "make up for it" but just to make things more interesting. I'll randomly deposit a few hundred bucks and make smart bets where I see value. I usually do pretty well there. But when I have a bankroll, I'll look at a sh*t event like the Russia one and make a random play just to make it more interesting and worth watching for me. That's when I lose my money and stop gambling. Then a year or so later the cycle begins again lolz.

Jesus Christ, that dude who fought Glover is a terror. That guy, Paulo Costa, Yoel, and a few others... I'm the same species?

Lol. That weigh in was done on the cheap. No recognizable ufc officials, **** lighting, a hotel backroom. They're just conceding that Canelo vs Jacobs grabs all the viewership?
