Core of Lonzo/BI, cheap trade piece, Lebron, AD, Kuzma, Hart, Bullock, rookie this season, plus vets

Thats a contender for some years.

I don't want to hear about Jimmy or Kemba. They aren't enough. Maybe we can compete (not a favorite even) for this 1 year or maybe 2, but thats it. Then we're capped out and ****.

1 year deals again if no big move. Just put shooters on the team

Ideally we are signing a Free Agent before any trade. Hopefully, it's a big name (I personally think it's going to be Kawhi). I'd rather bring aboard Jimmy Butler or Kemba Walker and pair them with Lebron and our young core than give away BI or Lonzo or Kuz. That's a good team.

In a worst case scenario, where we don't sign anybody - I'd prefer to do a trade where we absorb a large salary good player for our draft pick (whoever that is) and maybe Josh Hart and/or future pick. I could see a guy like Mike Conley becoming available for a package like that or maybe Jrue Holiday if the Pels end up trading AD to someone else.

Watching Vucevic against TOR it’s hard to say there is a center better fit to play next to LBJ. He’s like a grown up Zubac.

I’m surprised st his lateral quickness and focus on help defense. He can go inside-outside to score, pass, rebound, set screens. Three pointers made: 84.

Brook Lopez made 187 3-pointers, that's 103 more than Nikola and he's getting paid under 4 Million dollars this year. Yes, you mentioned his lateral quickness etc and yes it's vital but I am not sure he will accept less than 20 mil/year and I don't prefer to use most of your cap space over a center instead of a SG like Klay or scoring PGs like Kyrie or Kemba. I know Kevin and Kawhi are a long shot.... what is this about having first names starting with K. :o
Just FYI, Javale who just got paid 2.3 mil has 104 defensive rating, 4.1 blocks, 16 rebs, Brook at 103, 8 rebs, 3.6 blocks and Vucevic 103, 18 rebs and 1.7 blocks per 100 possessions.

2) Patrick Beverly offer him $$$ and steal him away :)

3) Brook Lopez

4) #wewantmonty as head coach lol

Call it an off season :)

I want Jokic on this team. The game has totally and completely slowed down for him. He’s a beast. Talk about economy of movement. The first ever legit Point C.

There have been many rumors and suggestions for players but does anyone have an understanding of what type of players are needed to be competitive and win at the highest level. Players who know how to win and sacrifice for the team and have an exceptional high basketball IQ. Talent is not always the answer but knowledge of how to win Kurt Rambis is an excellent example. Derek Fisher, Rick Fox, and Robert Horry should be included. These guys knew what it took to win. Make the best trade, flip a coin and hope it works out for 2020.

No. OMG. Zion hype is ridiculous. Can we wait until we see him play in the NBA first?

If the rumors are true and Lakers gonna trade Lebron for Simmons we need to trade Ball to Chicago - him and simmons would not go well the floor spacing would be bad.

But yes I would go for Simmon keep Ingram and Kuzma and build around them ;) hopefully add in Kawhi

AD should be the 1st Target

Lonzo/ BI and future #1 pick but I guess they will want the #4. If the #4 is included then
that is 3 top 4 picks for AD plus any fillers.

So I don't give away Kuzma if the #4 is offered I only give BI

It could end up being

Lonzo , BI and Barret & fillers
Lonzo BI & Hunter
Lonzo, BI & Garland
Lonzo BI & Culver

This is a pretty good offer because AD is leaving in one year. He has to be traded for the chemisty of the next season to go well and to surrond Mt Zion with young guys to build around

Im also more of the thought that Holiday has to come with AD. More guardplay to go along with our size. What well need is to adapt to playoff situations. Teams wanna crash the boards and go big on us? We can demolish that gameplan. Teams wanna go small and speed up gameplay? We can adapt and smash that gameplan as well.

If we don't have a chance to sign Kawhi, my primary target would be Irving, and then a trade for Beal. That's a decent big 3 offensively and not good but w/ the right supporting staff not totally hopeless defensively.

Once it is done I'd try to collect other pieces for MLE and vet. min that can complement our 1-3 options: Horford (providing defense, mid range shooting and all around game as a C for MLE), Ariza (defense & some spot up shooting for min), Bullock (3pt shooting for min), McGee (size for min), Caruso (some scoring for min) and Rondo (playmaking & some defense for min) w/ Hart, Kuzma, Wagner and Bonga.

Irving/Rondo/Caruso
Beal/Hart
Bullock/Ariza/Bonga
James/Kuzma
Horford/McGee/Wagner

With the appopriate coaching it should be a top 4 team in the conference.

Lol at horford and ariza.... We would be lucky to get McGee at full MLE, let alone ariza.
