Totally agree. Almost had game 3 in this series as well but Toronto made more plays in the end than we did. Orlando made an amazing run to clinch a playoff berth and competed the best they could until Toronto flexed their muscles and their talent took over.

Now looking forward to Weltman and Hammond to make our success sustainable and ultimately get us to where Toronto is now.

Eh... I would rather have a shot at Morant or Williamson but it is what it is. That said, hopefully this showed AG and Isaac what it's going to take to win at the next level. That's the only silver-lining I take away from this all.

I just don't understand this mindset. It is just as likely to demoralize them as it is to make them step up. We got destroyed most of these games, as in it wasn't close. It could cause them to work harder and know where they want to go. It could also make them deflated and do nothing this offseason until they "get more help". Lets not pretend it is automatically just good news all around.

If they sulk instead of wanting to get better, they need to be traded immediately. I bet they'll both be in the gym within weeks though.

I hope this isn’t Birch’s last game with us, he’s a really solid backup C

have to give credit to Toronto, a much better team, a championship team that I say will get all the way to the finals. I mean look how they handle the Magic? I don't think any other team in the east top 5 or 6 would have done this against the Magic. We seen how good we can be, but we have holes and in need of talent. Fultz, Bamba, and the 16th pick along with Isaac and AG....Love what we have for our future!

Raptors fan here, wishing u guys the best this offseason. Yea, this wasn't really a series but believe it or not this is a necessary step towards building a contender. Not too long ago the raptors were in the same situation.
Good luck to u boys!

Losing every game by 1 v. losing every game 30, you're still gone fishin.

What's the difference, ya know?

Have you ever been in a important competition? It is normal to feel deflated after not just losing, but getting destroyed. They will be in the gym because they are professionals, but as far as having the fire? They might just mentally check out, go through the motions, and wait for the front office to make some changes? Be realistic. They are still humans.

Wouldn't be bummed at all if that was the last time we saw Vuc in a Magic uniform. I know the value is never equal, but a sign and trade for him would be ideal.

Toronto will mostly kill Philly. Not sure about how they fair after that but Toronto is a good team. They play excellent defense, hit 3's, have an MVP level player and a star in the making to pair up with Kawhi.

Didn’t hear that. Vuc I know has had a shoulder injury during the playoffs I know for certain. Was discussed in first game.

David and Jeff just said he was icing it before the game and that he's "banged up".

Gotcha, thanks. Missed that.

I agree. Plus they are much deeper in the bench.

No, think it would have been the same result with Boston, Tor, or Philly, lol.

Return to Orlando Magic
