I really think they just got their hearts broken in Game 4. Didn't really recover.

Its tough when you lose a game like that.

Kind of like when Ray Allen made that 3 vs the Spurs. They couldn't get it together for Game 7.

Funny, it's the exact thing I said about Yanks letting go of Girardi for Boone.

Yeah but in hindsight Joe was allegedly a really big douchebag and didn't give a rats ass about the players, as opposed to how Boone treats them. I think that counts for something even though its ultimately a business.

Like even here, you can see that Kenny cares about these guys, sometimes to a fault at times when he'll let guys work through it when it may not be in the team's best interest.

While I agree with you about Kenny, I'd still take Girardi over Boone.

I would too tbh. but hey Yanks have won 4 straight.

Starting to feel like I'd welcome a Jimmy Butler signing this summer...

Nets should be better once they find a replacement for carroll. And construct a more playoff equiped roster like lessen the number of defensive holes and adding a banger center.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

-What is D Lo worth?
-Who can we realistically add to improve our PF/C size, defense, rebounding?
-Is Jarrett Allen our future starting center long-term?
-Do we stay in the 2019 Draft or trade out?
-Do we bring back Dudley, Carroll, Davis?

I don't think he's worth a full max. We need to sign him to an amount where we still have flexibility. He signs a huge max offer sheet, that's a nightmare scenario.

Allen is still young, so it's early to tell but he needs to bulk up. This off-season is huge for his development.

We need to draft size.

Do everything to bring back Davis. Carroll and Dudley are totally expendable imo.
Do we renounce D Lo if we have two max stars willing to come here?

Dlo needs to get more physical next yr. Have guys guard him hard in practice on jumpers and going to the rim..need to learn how to finish with contact and draw fouls.

When Boone got thrown out against the Royals, my friend, who hates Boone even more than I do for being Mr. Analytics, texted me "Do you think he yelled at the umpire in binary?"

Yanks need to fire their conditioning staff though.

The Nets aren't renouncing Russell. I know we're pissed right now, but lets be realistic.

No, unless there is a guarantee that we get KD and Kyrie. (They prob choose the Knix over us tho)

So you're saying that even if two max stars indicate that they're willing to team up here, you would say no, and keep Russell?

Boone probably had the numbers crunchers calculate the probability of the game's outcome if he were to be kicked out in a particular inning.

 you're mad about that oblique strain huh

Low key excited about Rodi's development. Dude has the right mentality to be a borderline star.

If he can get stronger and cut down on his rookie mistakes, he will be tough to deal with.
