Horrid shot , he had 11 sec, game was tied, he needed one point to beat them, yet it went in and now he is hero.
It's funny how fast narrative changes, depending on outcom. If he missed he would be called idiot.

Thanks for this great season Orlando. Don't regret anything. Raptors are just too good.
Great experience and gives us some info for our future. First time in years I have been this excited by basketball. We were supposed to be a lottery team again but those guys played with all their guts to give us playoffs basketball.
And on the bright side, we did better than the pistons, pacers and have the same postseason record than OKC. Gotta put some things in perspective.

We good.

Point out where in this thread someone has said they want to keep vuc on a huge contract.
Anybody saying they want to keep him for even a 2-3 year contract for $100 is a huge contract.

“The best player on the team” scored 6 points last night and averaged 11 and 8 in the series, while getting destroyed on defense. He’s not even better than Kanter in Portland. I’d rather have him on the team instead.

He made one just like it earlier in the game... he left no time on the clock and the game was tied.

Just stop it.

Well, most satisfying Magic season since 09-10, managed to finish with a winning record, had our first all star since Dwight, end the longest playoffs drought in the East and as a cherry on top acquired a potential star player at a position of need in fultz, for next to nothing.
Couldn't have possibly asked for more.

Good luck Raptors fans, well deserved series win, hope you beat the crap out of the Sixers.

it's 37 foot jumper , he could left zero sec on a clock while trying to score something closer

I mean, he is amazing dshooter and everything but it's still 37 feet jumpshot .

As i said, you make it -you are hero, you miss it and you are fool.
Key thing is that they had 11 sec on a clock , so it's not like he needed to settle for 37 footer . Wasn't Westbrook killed in media when he missed similar jumper to win game?

It’s not a bad shot when you can make it. If he, Steph, Harden or KD takes that shot, I’m cool with it. Plus it gave him a bit of space to actually get the shot off versus going right at a good defensive player and possibly getting blocked.

I said it in first comment that now he is hero because he made it.
But he had better options, however, he made this monster shot.

Now he is one of 2 players ever to end series on buzzerbeater. Him and MJ ( there might be somebody else, i can't recall )

This isn't the first time he has done this. He ended the series against the Rockets back in 2014...

Oh i ment : to end series on buzzerbeaters - TWICE. Only him and MJ.
Stokton,Ralph Sampson and i'm not sure about Lebron are only ones who hit buzzerbeaters to finish series in general, but only Dame and Jordan did it twice.

The most annoying thing about this game was that we actually created good shots at a much better rate than in the previous games, we just kept missing them. We shot 4/21 on wide open threes, and most of them were taken by good or at least decent shooters, not by Isaac or MCW.
