I said no because this should have been 2 different polls, one for each player.

Injuries aside, WB is like the John Wall of the west, an ultra skilled and determined player who lets his attitude and stubbornness lower their BBIQ to a point where it's hard to build around them. As much as OKC/Wash might want to trade these guys, willing trade partners are going to be hard to come by... that right there tells you something. IMO you have to trade WB if you can find a team willing to take him on with his supermax that extends into his mid 30s.

Meanwhile PG is the type of player EVERY team wants and will line up to trade for, OKC should be clinging to this guy like he's their savior and not even consider trading him.

It's funny. They are asking this question now when Westbrook has been the same player he's always been no matter who you put around him. His style is not conducive to winning playoff basketball.

They forgot the important part of the equation. "for what?" Anthony Davis and Giannis? Yes they should. Some washed up veterans and a couple second picks? No.

60% of the people are thinking trade them to me team for our trash.

...which is why you should trade him away. The only downside is Paul George might not be happy you traded away his friend.

As mentioned before, trade him for what? For younger players and picks or trash and picks no. If you can get an amazing deal or even superstar for superstar then yes.

Keep in mind, OKC with KD and Russ were a few KD turnovers away from beating the Warriors and making it to the Finals. I think their best action plan would be to get some shooters around, maybe even move Russ to the 2 and PG at the 3 with Schroder starting at the 1.

For whom, and do what exactly?

Clueless fans always upvote these sorts of questions because they do not think them through, or if they do they just blatantly don't care and only want the excitement of seeing stars bounce around the league. But when you are Oklahoma City, the smallest market in the NBA, a market where NO major HOF caliber player will ever sign as a FA, no you don't dump your last 2 superstars unless you're damn sure you're getting younger ones on back. Once the well runs dry, it's likely to stay dry fro a very long time.

Or fans of another team that want to see their team land another teams star.

Or as a fan, you see a flawed team that is probably going nowhere with the two mega Stars that they have. And if you could trade those stars for multiple first round picks and/or established contributors, why wouldn't you try to put yourself in a better position than a first or second round exit playoff team year after year?

And if you're honest, you can probably win with Paul George. But you will never win with Russell Westbrook...
