I'm telling you: We're the best at getting our opponents to play better.

Well at least we didn't trade Oladipo and Sabonis for DDR. First positive bit of Thunder news I've heard in a while. Imagine having even less shooting. Ooooh boy.

A Vegas book has opened with the Thunder at 25-1 to win the 2020 title in a tie for 10th / 11th with Nuggets.

https://www.peachtreehoops.com/2019/5/4/18529758/atlanta-hawks-betting-odds-futures-nba-championship-trae-young-john-collins-lloyd-pierce-opener

A lot can happen between now and October and next April.

Some of the picks ahead of the Thunder are speculative choices pending free agency moves. Thunder could conceivably be better than a few of them or worse than a handful currently listed below them. So with a range of maybe 7th to 16th, being in a tie for 10th / 11th is a pretty safe starting point for the book.

A starting backcourt of Westbrook AND DeRozan? I can't fathom.

Presti really has very little regard for fit and skillet. How does he even entertain that?!

Oh good, now some people will talk themselves back into the idea that this team had a shot to do anything meaningful in the playoffs if it weren't for those pesky injuries. Hooray for the status quo.

Next year OKC will have their first competent medical staff ever! No one will get injured! PG will repeat his career best 2 month run for a whole season! Russ will shoot the best he ever has! OKC will win 75 games and win a championship!

Also “proactive” knee surgery for Russ. This is going to get ugly very soon.

RW is a good player that takes bad shots.
DDR is a mediocre player who takes bad shots.

One makes you want to bang your head into a wall. The other makes you undergo electro shock therapy. Toronto fans are fine with Kawhi possibly being a rental just so they don’t have to watch Derozen play for them anymore. Presti would have been on crack to take that deal.

They should have shut PG down and had the surgery done before the playoffs. It was a wash with him being hindered as it bared out, and now he won’t be back to basketball activity until after training camp. Goodbye off-season training.

Hope Russ finds some magic this off-season between USA basketball camp and Rico Hines training because PG is going to be all out of sorts at the start of the season. More shots for schroder - no bueno.

How on earth does this keep happening every season? Did they offer their stars oone surgery for free on top when they signed?!

How on earth do we keep riding this team with the same stupid coaching staff and GM accolading themselves every single season, not changing ****, and fan base eating their junk.

Stop buying those tickets and merchandise, and send them a message.

I cannot devour watching the same motionless, nonfun, iso heavy basketball again next season.

This vid also shows you, EVERYTHING.

If former Dre is back next season, you have to run him as a 4 on offense, with Grant going at the center.
Our Adams era should be officially over, he is a great guy, great screener, but doesnt add a second dimension to anything on the court.
Our spacing is non existent, our body movement is non existent.

We should go with TFerg as some sort of a role guy of the bench, and prioritize a trade to get someone as out starting 2 guard alongside Russ and PG.

Eric Gordon prototype who has fallen off recently, just like Houston revitalized Eric.

Tyreke Evans, Terrance Ross.

Get Billy out, none of the players are listening to him.
Get someone crazy like Jasikevicius to get his voice up on our stars ear, just to shell shock the whole locker room, make a drastic change.

WE CANNOT BRING THE CORE AND THE STAFF BACK without a change to any of them.
CAN NOT.

george played with a partial tear in his rotator cuff for months. the thunder made public statements after the season that it was an injury that 'wouldn't get worse with him playing through it'. but they never disclosed the actual nature of the injury or made these statements during the season.

another westbrook knee surgery isn't surprising.

Grant at the 5 isn't consistently sustainable. He struggles at the four with bigger players like Favors, Griffin and Randle. There is no way he could match up against players like Embiid, AD, Nurkic, Towns and others.

JFC. So we're at that stage of his career, wherein another knee surgery isn't even surprising.

Now would be a good time to go ahead and get more into whatever your second favorite team is fellas. I've been really enjoying the Denver series. Might have to watch them more next year.

In the coming weeks, George will also have surgery for a labrum tear in his left shoulder, and will be sidelined for the summer and an undetermined portion of training camp in September.

We might be tanking next year.

right shoulder happened first. could you tear the labrum in your off shoulder compensating for the other one? seems unlikely, at least with common basketball movements. but, still.

The passing. The skills. It's all there. Arvydas Sabonis?
