We might be tanking next year.

jokic has been sensational.

The passing. The skills. It's all there. Arvydas Sabonis?

i don't think there's a closer comparison at the position. sabonis was useful on defense though, even as a plodding husk of himself. but i guess that may be a relic of his generation. i can't imagine him chasing shooters around and ICE'ing pick and rolls like they do now.

Zwicker brings up an interesting point here. What do you guys know about Thybulle?

I would be more excited if we managed to get a second round pick to get him. It seems like we are reaching too much on him. Also, do we really need another shooting guard prospect?

Oh good. Another Mitch McGary or Josh Huestis style second rounder to take with a first.

I think that's overstating it. The draft guys I've talked to seem to be fairly high on him, honestly. Don't think it'll actually wind up being an overdraft by the time everything shakes out in predraft.

Playing Grant at the 5 full time would be a fitting end to this era. Going all in on one of Presti's projects, missing the Playoffs while investing 200+ million. Great stuff.

Ah yes, the 2014 draft. What a great success. Two FRP and the return is nonexistent.

If Presti picks him I'm going to go ahead and assume he sucks. Then I can't be disappointed.

If Ferguson bulks up this offseason like he said he would, is there any chance he could play the three?

If he puts on 25 pounds of muscle, sure

If we keep drafting wings (Thybulle) then we are going to either trade someone or reposition them. Ferguson has the height and length to play the three if he’s still in the long term plans.

Life would be great right now if we were competent at drafting in the second round and took the steals in Brunson or KBD last year...

Now the team is in position to snag Kabengele and will probably take some bum boy

it's hard to put on 25 pounds of muscle in a year on steroids / hgh / perfect genetics. ferg's not doing that in four months.

People rave about his bbiq and defensive instincts. I’m cool with it I guess.
With the question marks around Dre being able to return to what he was, it seems like a decent pick for the low 20s. Need somebody with size that can switch in today’s nba and Thybulle seems built in a lab for that. Ferg is too light still.

I would still prefer Herro though.

OKC needs to stop trying to build their team to beat the Kobe-Gasol-Bynum Lakers in 2019.

For god’s sake, why are you STILL starting offensive non-factors at 3 positions?!
