So was I, why not go back and complain about the refs more like you guys did all series. Congrats on the win, CJ deserved it.

Calling me a ‘dumbass’ isn’t a fact.
Please show me a single post where I complained about he refs.

Perspective...and all you're doing over here is adding insult to injury. The 3-pts were irrelevant because BOTH sides were pathetic, but the FT's were the difference. And maybe YOU weren't but I can bring up at least 15 POR posters that were whining about the refs, and that's a FACT too.

Yeah I'm not sure how Denver gets better next season. Playoff experience doesn't suddenly make you a good 3pt or FT shooting team

A young GS won in the POs pretty much straight away.

A young LeBron team won in the POs pretty much straight away.

We're not even losing to the best and that's what hurts

We're getting MPj next season, won our 1st playoff series in a decade and our players will dwell on this loss ALL summer, leaving that hunger to gnaw at them...that's where we'll get better

I can't wait until post-Barton Nuggets. I saw a lot of what I saw when Barton was on the bench in the regular season. It was im bringing up the ball every play being the PG instead of Monte Morris. Malik Beasley barely touches the ball when Barton is out there and that's what IMO made his minutes go down big time. The bench plays completely different when Will Barton is the one running the show.

Blazer fan coming in peace (I swear).

This was such a competitive series and both teams deserved to win it with how well it was played.

You guys have a bright future. Your whole team is young and you’ll be right back next year. Hold your head up, you guys have one of the best squads in the nba and 10 years ahead of you. It probably is no consolation but Congrats on a great series. And 100 percent being honest the nuggets had far more class than OKC :)

So, here is the end... It was great season and Nuggets made us very happy and proud of them. Sure we wanted to win. Sure some guys like PM and JM dissapointed us tonight. And sure we can be kinda pissed cause we were beaten by bench. Today Turner who looked like **** whole series, before that Hood. And our bench should be our playing card. So I understand any Nuggets fan who is upset, angry, mad about our bench, refs, coach or some of our starters.

Truth is Nuggets SHOULD win this series. They didn't. Let's hope our players take this as motivation to work this summer and become better, not settled as "we are good with this."

I mean, what I am trying to say? I'm sad. I am down. Wanted to keep this dream alive. Still this season was much more I'd ever dream of. Portland won in fair fight. Just show our players some love and our opponent respect. Not be negative.

Go NUGGETS!

No And-1 from me if that's what you're fishing for.

It was a competitive series, just really got tired of all the belly-aching from the POR fans. Hopefully we'll take this and let them learn from this for next year.....

That was an incredible game and a great series. I thought Portland was going to get blown out late in the 1st, and it was really astounding how they were able to stay within reach with such abysmal shooting, and the refs gave the Nuggets about 10 points on bad calls in the 1st half alone that I counted. How on earth did they over-come that to win? Especially with Nurkic being out, Kanter having one good arm, and Hood out with an injury.

I swear to God, CJ' suddenly improved his vertical by 10+ inches, I've never seen him leap like he did on that block.

Thank God CJ caught fire. Blazers are the more veteran team and were better in the clutch.

Stupid how the ref-whing little POR beothches now have to come over and try to prove they are "good sports". Really would have been smarter to just listen to their mods and just stay away, sorry Jokic didn't get injured like you wanted....

Stotts / Olshey just outdid Malone.
Not just with game 6, but throughout the series Denver's lack of a true SF cover led to buckets in the post. When Hood went down tonight, CJ and Lillard just took turns tearing up the pick and roll defense by splitting the defenders.

But even with all that... the Nuggets were abysmal behind the arc. The one adjustment Malone refused to make was sub in our SF sniper in place of a certain make-shift-point forced-back-onto-the-bench zero-synergy-with-jokic-on-DHO guard. Or even use Juancho at the 4 instead of Plumlee during those plumkic lineups... adding more bigmen clearly wasn't helping us catch defensive boards. In fact, the Millsap at the 5, Craig at 4 lineup might have been one of our best bench units that we ran out. It shouldn't have taken the playoffs to dip into that, and it should have been revisited a lot more than what Malone gave it burn for. But Malone hasn't exactly given us reason to think he understands what happens on court.

This is the result of re-signing Plumlee and Barton. We needed a guy like Darrell Arthur this season, but couldn't retain him because someone blew all the money on non-factors, or net-negatives. I don't even know if I can blame Malone for the extensive Plumkic + Barton line-ups because maybe the front office is pressuring him to make them not look like idiots by signing guys that should only play 4 minutes a game to 13 million dollar per year deals.

It must sting to finally get eliminated by the Blazers, not just during the regular season like 2 years ago, but in an actual round. I hope this finally gets the front office to own up to the mistakes they made and move on from their salvaged consolidation prizes.

I did want Jokic to get injured after he intentionally elbowed Kanter in his injured shoulder. I only want people to get injured that deserve it. He also got away with so many fouls it was ridiculous. Be happy, you have a player that, for whatever reason, the NBA wants to protect like Michael Jordan.

If we had Nurkic, and if the refs had officiated fairly, Portland would have swept Denver easily.

If you really watched Denver games this season you would realize that Denver has the league-worst status by refs with zero respect out of all playoff level teams, and Jokic out of all all-star level players. If you want to talk here about Kanter fake injury you chose the wrong time and wrong place. And if you want to talk here in Denver subforum on the day team lost their playoff series how you want to see their franchise player injured, just stop with it, and leave this discussion, otherwise you risking suspension.

Overall it appeared that Murray and Millsap just did not have any energy today. Both's shots were short and Murray played well on defense and hit his fts, and Millsap was just a step slow every time it appear, they looked like they had nothing left. Jokic looked exhausted by the late 4th. We ended the season with an intense schedule with a ton of road games and then 2 brutal playoff series. I am sure we all knew the schedule would catch up sooner or later. Nobody has looked right this whole series outside of Jokic and those 2.

I do not care what any of his apologists have to say, Barton is a problem. He has to be moved and a different veteran SF to replace him would be nice. Our bench had a great 3rd game against the Spurs, kept us in the game. Game 4 Barton came off the bench in the 1st half and was benched in the 2nd half and our bench put up solid numbers. By game 6 on Beasley and Morris struggled badly, and that was the 1 "good" Barton game in the Spurs series. He kills all the ball movement and chemistry on the entire bench. He needs to go somewhere that they need an iso scorer, I still say it is the Blazers if Hood is gone.

I wonder if we can keep Millsap for MLE type money? It would be nice to sign him for $9 million starting, sign a veteran SF that will be okay off the bench or starting depending on MPJ. We need another veteran that can help stabilize the bench, and can get occasional baskets when needed. I actually think Rudy Gay would not be the worse addition if we can get offWe ha of Barton's deal.

I would have liked to see what Vanderbilt and Juancho could have brought into this series, both would have probably been the best options to guard Hood. I think it would have been nice to see what they brought so guys could have gotten more rest early in the series.

We had a hell of a season, and like most I thought that getting to the 2nd round would be a very good successful season, so I am very happy with the season as a whole. Even if I did not like the way it ended.

I'm totally down for a good trolling from time to time. But yeah, that post was bullcrap. I wasn't a big fan of all the ref complaints either, its the NBA, ball calls happen.

And tbf, just wanting to pay respects to a team that really played great and played with class. The Nuggets remind me of the Blazers a lot, just a good group of guys with a really solid coach that play together and don't have egos, that deserves respect imo.

Lets be clear, I wasn't making this kind of post on the Thunder board after R1 lol. I was just as happy to see them lose as I was to see the Blazers beat them. Westbrook is an ass.

And let's be clear, no love loss here between the Blazer and the Nuggets, this rivalry just got even more real. Nurk is still an ASS, even Kanter is piss-worthy too IMO. And Sinobas and others brought the douchey side of your fanbase to the fore front IMO . Never thought I'd root for GSW (especially with the Mole) but I will this series, just can't stomach all the ref-whining I'm betting to hear.

You and Moonbeam are about all I can tolerate here, so I hope you two enjoy the WCFs.

Its funny how differently some people view a series. I thought it was pretty clean and came away with no ill-feelings or even consider Blazers v Denver a "rivalry" really because I never got the sense there was any real bad blood between the franchises. Blazers and Denver have some clear bad blood, so I consider that more of a rivalry than Blazers/Nugs, but to each their own.
