RIP my friend. We always had great debates. In the end we are all people whether we are Knicks or Nets fans. He always gave respect and almost two decades later we always had great banter. I will miss this guy and so will the entire REAL GM community (not just the Knicks board).

I remember lurking on this board back in 03 and finally signing up in 04. I've seen so many posters and mods. Mags was a good dude. He's at peace now.

I joined RealGM back in the stone ages. A young HS kid trying to vent about the Knicks, talk about the Knicks, etc. The site was kinda a hot mess at the time, but certain mods kept it fun and civil around here. Mags was that one.

In recent years, Mags infused a lot of positivity about the Knicks overall. Perhaps we now know why he kept that positive energy. Sad part was one of our last interactions was him breaking up the “heated”/funny discussions I had with melo regarding Dennis Smith Jr lmao.... mags should know I’ll let Melo live lmao.

Enjoy a few with the good homies up above. I’ll try to live up to your dedication to this site.

Just saw the announcment, and logged in after a long time, here to pay my tribute, because this one hit really hard, never knew he had a problem with health and frankly because how excited he was about the Knicks and just as a person, always positive and kind especially to me I would not have guessed he had one...

I had my conversations with Mags in forum also via PM, and gonna just read those few conversations again...

You were someone I grew to like a whole lot in the past couple of years. This board is funny like that and sometimes people who used to clash start to vibe with each other. That was so true of you and I and I really can say you became one of my primary sources of positivity on the board.

It takes a truly rare and specific individual that can show moxie while dishing out emojii's like a peanut vendor like you did. I liked that balance you had between having a strong POV while keeping it light. That's a special gift and you had that Mags.
