i'm coming around on cam reddish if we fell to 4 or 5. i'm kind of at peace with any of those kids at this point.

y'all know i was waving the culver flag early. and i see him and cam as pretty much a wash at 4 or 5. not a huge RJ fan. love zion and ja. like garland too.

really, no one we could pick in the top 5 would disappoint me. still, praying for the lottery magic so the joy of my world can be in zion.

deadass, if we drafted zion i wouldn't care about FA. and even if we signed 2 max, i would not trade zion OR mitch for AD.
RIP magnumt

thanks for everything, thibs.

I feel more comfortable taking Cam over RJ. At least with Cam he flashed some elite shot creation throughout the season. Not a fan of how RJ takes wild drives to the rim and hoping it goes in. That’s literally the only way he scores.

I don’t like neither of them but I’m trying to talk myself into Cam at least. I don’t see it at all with RJ.

Its going to be very hard for patrick ewing to defeat dan gilbert son nick gilbert that kid always gets lucky on draft day. That cavs team had gotten the number one pick 4 times in past 16 years lebron james, kyrie irving, andrew wiggins, and anthony bennet.

I saw something that A.Houston was also doing something as well but can't remember what it was. It had something to do with him being the guy for the Knicks to do something. Do each team have someone in the back when the ping pong balls actually get pulled?

I know some media members who get invited for the draft stay in a room and can't access there cell phones until the draft is over at 9pm east coast time. The media members are in this room i think for 7 hours 2pm - 9pm can't access computer, twitter, or cell phones for that time period.

No doubt about the fact that the culture is or has started changing for the New York Knicks and now our next and new chapter is starting for us and that new chapter starts with the ping pong balls coming up in the Knicks favor tomorrow night.

The New York Knicks will get the #1 pick in the 2019 NBA draft!!!!!!

I think if the sixers get number 1 pick i think they will draft ja morant because how disappointed the sixers are with ben simmons lack of jump shot.

Probably too late for a lot of you but I advise yall not to get too attached to Zion.. Strong possibility he's going to New Orleans for AD if we land number 1

I read what you said and countered with how well he played in the 2nd half of the season. Yeah he could be better. He’s a 2nd year player with a sky high ceiling. That doesn’t mean he **** around in the off-season and didn’t develop

he doesn't have a sky high ceiling. that's delusional. he's a role player and overrated on both sides of the ball with lots of mental lapses.

also a common problem with these young celtics, not as good as they looked last year on shooting. jaylen brown is a corner 3 spot up guy.

So a 21 year old sophomore, who helps lead his team (on both sides) to game 7 of the ECF in 2018 while averaging very good numbers does not have a sky high ceiling?

If this dude did this in a NYK uniform, he'd be worshiped. Does it for someone else? Role player.

BTW here's one of the many articles disproving your theory that he **** around during the off-season.

http://www.celticslife.com/2018/06/watch-jaylen-brown-is-already-back-at.html

he's at best a 3&d role player and not a particularly positive one right now.

in this playoffs jaylen brown had a -17.8 net rtg, and in the regular season he was a negative player as well by on/off impact. he just makes too many bad plays and that's an area he hasn't developed in a significant way.

We saw the same sh*t with Burke last year we saw with Mudiay, dude has a fluke year from mid after being garbage which makes him look better than he is, then next year he regresses back to the mean. Dude only had better stats because Fiz was fine with just letting him take whatever shot he wanted with no accountability

Mario had a few fluke good games. Dude's looking for a contract. Both those guys are fool's gold, especially considering their contracts are up, and I ain't paying them sh*t

DSJ can develop into something good though

We can disagree on these young players' trajectory all night. But we can at least agree that Mudiay's improved play was a direct result of this management team, which has a good program in place for developing young players.

What program?

You mean, "Hey, just do whatever you want, we're not gonna run plays, and there's no reprucussions for taking bad shots or not playing defense, as long as you're taking as many shots as you can you're golden"?

Cause that's what we did. There's no system, there's no program, there really wasn't much development, and Mudiay didn't really improve

Haha. So you didn't know see enough about Mudiay's young NBA career to see that his game was day and night.
That's all I can gather from your post.

That's all I can gather from your post.

So, which part of his game was day and night?

He still can't shoot 3s, he can't finish around the rim, he doesn't play defense, he can't run an offense, and he only passes when he thinks it'll get him an assist

Literally the only thing that was different was he had a spike in mid range shooting efficiency, which is exactly what happened with Trey Burke, people saw him hit a bunch of mids and thought that was sustainable, and it wasn't

I don't know how I'm going to react if the Knicks don't get the #1 pick.

I don't know how I'm going to react if they do get it.

I don't know how I'm going to react.

Either way, I'm staying off my TV screen for this until the next morning.

Deandre hunter is going to be a stud. Part of me wants to draft at the 5th spot just so we can get him. I don't think perry/mills would trade down if they get 2 or 3 pick but they should. I know everyone is going to say I am crazy and he is getting hyped to much because of his tournament run but I think this kid will be special.

Cam disappointed me throughout the tourney but I still believe he’s going to be good in the NBA. His skill set and defense already impressive.

I don’t think I’m going to watch this. Because I’ll be infuriated if we don’t pick 1 or 2. It will be another black eye on this franchise.

I know exactly how I'll react if that happens. With a long, loud, excessively creative string of profanity. :D
