#3
2021 NYK 1st
2021 DAL 1st
2023 NYK 1st
2023 DAL 1st
Dennis Smith Jr.
Mitchell Robinson
Kevin Knox
Frank Ntilikina

That's the best offer NOP could get. Getting Barrett to pair with Zion would make Zion happier.

Then you flip Jrue somewhere like Charlotte for the 12th pick and Batum and take Bol Bol.

Dennis Smith Jr. / Frank Ntilikina
R.J. Barrett / E'Twaun Moore
Kevin Knox / Nic Batum
Zion Williamson / Cheick Diallo
Bol Bol / Mitchell Robinson

That's the start of something special.

That Boston offer would be incredible but is unrealistic.

We win by default of not having Frank Nkilitina in the damn package

Other than the 3rd pick, what is the Knicks offering that is better than Ingram (knox is significantly worse, Robinson is good but would you want that as a building block, DSJ has been rather mediocre and Nkilitina is a bust).

Also for all the love Tatum gets, he's really not that far ahead of Ingram and Brown is overrated for the most part. They also have mid firsts and we have the fourth.

If I’m the Pelicans this is easy. I do a hard reset starting with Zion, RJ Barrett, Mitchell Robinson and Dennis Smith.

Considering the recent results of Houston playoff series. I would make an offer of James Harden for Antony Davis.

Man that front court defense with Mitchell Robinson and Zion would be scary for the league...

Think AD making a big mistake not sticking around his last year to give the new kid a chance. Seems like they could be a killer combination, better than him and Boogy, which was really interesting before the tear.

As predicted, Lakers' cheerleaders piling in and hoping NO takes its poo poo platter.

Ball is a bust, BI is due a deal & he's got health risk, Kuzma is best of the bunch and #4 pick in a 3 guy draft.

This might be a hard concept armchair analysts but it's not a hard argument to say that Mitch is the most attractive to NO. He's arguably the best potential upside in the league right now and oh btw he's from the NO. Add that to the Duke connection, and it wouldn't surprise anyone to see AD in NY next year.

NBA is so predictable giving Pelicans #1 and Lakers #4. Just to make this trade happen for Davis. Rigged like rig you never saw before.

Intersting you say this. I was thinking something along the lines of:

Sign and trade Tobias Harris + Ben Simmons for Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday. Re-sign Butler and JJ Redick.

Jrue Holiday
JJ Redick
Jimmy Butler
Anthony Davis
Joel Embiid

Pretty tough lineup there.
Oh the sign & trade. Why do armchair GMs still think that's a possibility? Time to brush on your CBA reading, S&Ts won't ever happen again for max guys.

I agree. Especially watching these playoffs, I am of the belief that if they're getting Durant and Kyrie they will need high level role players rather than another superstar. Keep Robinson, and angle for guys like Danny Green and Harkless who can defend and hit the 3 via trade. Then, they can keep some of their young players as bench pieces and continue to round out their roster with exceptions.

AD will have diminishing returns next to two other ISO heavy players.

What about these playoffs has convinced you the Knicks would be better off without Anthony Davis? Kyrie looking totally lost without LeBron? Durant missing games with injury? I could easily see the Knicks losing to the Bucks, Raptors, Warriors, and Lakers with AD.

Depends, AD may come out and say he wants to go to (team A) and leverage is down for NO. Or he could say I'm a one year rental. Again, leverage down. I would think a package or Kuz, Ingram and #4 would be the best deal for them. Restart program..

Knicks will probably get him. They can put together a much better offer than the Lakers and I doubt Celtics will unload the clip for Davis.

Maybe some random team will come out of nowhere and put together a compelling package.

It's crucial that the Knicks find a way to get AD because KD, an All-Star and some young dudes aren't beating a team of AD/LBJ and Kyrie, Kawhi or Butler.

Try to keep Robinson if you can but if he needs to go then just do it. Don't try to be cute with this.

Why would New Orleans send AD to a Western Conference rival?
