Really not a fan. Her voice just really rubs me the wrong way. Like Kevin Harlan, I think years of 2K ruined it, but I have to mute it anytime she comes on.

And guys, she’s in her 50s come on there are a lot better options out there.

Boring though.

Agree. Now Roz has a bright future, if unleashed from girl next door image. She's a smart cookie.

I think she's fantastic. I loved hearing her call a playoff game for the Nets in the first round, she really knows her stuff about the players.

One day, perhaps RealGM will be able to have a conversation about a female commentator/reporter without mentioning their looks. Does how a person look really affect their ability to commentate a game? It's not like anybody talks at length about the attractiveness of Mike Breen.

And I like Doris Burke. Her voice can be monotone at times (whoever compared her to Brent Barry was spot on), but at least she adds to the broadcast, and talks about what's happening on the floor.

She's great. Unlike a lot of her peers, she actually knows stuff about a wide variety of teams and the end of benchers.

Not to be stereotypical, but she's one of those chicks that you sometimes say to "would you just shut the hell up for a minute!"

When I watch sports, I like commentary that is analytical. I like it when someone discusses strategy. Doris brings too much of an emotional perspective to the game. I really don't care how Maurice Harkless is feeling, being in his first WC Finals. If wanted that, I would watch "The Young and Restless."

She’s a headache to listen to and is pretty much the female version of Chris Webber.

She goes out of her way to prove how knowledgeable she is...she spent minutes talking about the size of Leonard’s hands or the 4ot game going on and on about jokic's game like a fan.

Nobody cares for all that mundane stuff

Jvj and jackson don’t do the fake analysis. We all know jackson is hated for off the court stuff despite him being a solid play by play guy.

I like the chemistry they got the self depreciating humour of jvg.

I think she's above average as a color commentator- great timing and knowledge, only her voice bringing her down a peg. Is it just me or does she have some of the same inflections as bill walton?

A little dry, but she actually does research and has an occasional insight. She can also complete a coherent sentence unlike Chris Webber.

Mike Breen is a silver haired fox.

Some insight to realgm:

out of ~ 75 comments so far in this thread.

~ 30 are about how she's looking, if she's hot or not, that she 'can get it' or that she's good despite being women or 'not a diversity hire' or other things directly related to her gender.

Surprised? This is a site with a primarily male user base that are thirsty.

I like her. She is the best basketball commentator in circulation right now (this does not count the formally trained leads like Harlan).
