Kyle Rudolph, Vikings Are Discussing Extension

Talks between the Minnesota Vikings and Kyle Rudolph on a contract extension are ongoing, but the discussions haven\'t gained any momentum.

The two sides haven\'t ended talks, according to a source.

He needs to restructure, he's not young anymore, and his YAC is a negative.
We need flexability In case FA comes along.

Yeah, he turned down a five year deal. He's going to pull a Shabazz, and price himself out of the league.

He didn't turn down anything. All that matters in NFL contracts is guaranteed money and the Vikings were offering squat.

Wrong, they offered a five year deal with the same money, but he turned it down. Don't have link, but it's on Star Tribe.

Look for the part about guaranteed money. You won't find it.
