Wizards Interested In Neil Olshey To Run Front Office

The Washington Wizards have interest in Neil Olshey to run their front office.

Olshey has been with the Portland Trail Blazers since 2012.

The Wizards are also considering Danny Ferry, Troy Weaver and Tommy Sheppard. Washington previously offered the job to Tim Connelly before he decided to ultimately remain with the Denver Nuggets.

Olshey agreed to an extension in 2017 that runs through the 20-21 season. Sources believe Olshey is open to considering other options.

As if Neil Olshey would leave Damian Lillard and the team he built from scratch for this Wizards fixer-upper. Bradley Beal's appeal is completely offset with John Wall's contract/injury situation.

If you take Olshey you have to take his bad decisions with him, 17 million a year for Evan Turner and 11 for Meyers Leonard both horrible players worthy of the minimum at best. He also gave Harkless 13 million and Allen Crabb 18 (nets are trying to unload him but can’t). Hopefully he can sell off they’re expiring contracts this season to team looking for cap space. I don’t see him leaving the blazers unless the uncertainty of the ownership scares him. I
