Capela is the type of guy you pursue AFTER you find your #1 option superstar.

We are the last team that should trade for a big like Capela.

I believe we can use MLE/LLE, IIRC, I already saw teams using it to sign european players (not rookie scale contracts).

Capela has no offensive moves, so it's a no to me. As some already said, if we let Vuc go, I'd try to sign a cheaper replacement.

I'd rather just have Birch on the cheap. Capela might not look toooooo Capelaish without Harden on the ball. Shoot he could turn out to be better.... but rarely have we seen him play without this well oiled machine unless Harden is injured.... rarely enough that i wouldn't be sure about that gamble.

I would maybe just maybe think about the below deal... not sure it's even close value or what Houston is looking for.

Capela + Eric Gordon for Moz Bamba and 16th pick. I'd love to swap Moz for Fournier but that's adding $$ to Houston exact opposite of what they want.

I think they're looking for a team who has space to take Capela + a pick while giving back minimal/expiring salary so they have room for FA.

freaking a i have no idea and am just running through wtf scenarios because I'm tired of us doing nothing and barely treading water.

Besides Eric Gordon, I'd try to trade for PJ Tucker. He would be a nice enforcer to have at 3.

Bamba AND 16 for a slightly taller Khem Birch and an aging vet who's not even a fringe all star?!

No thank you if it just Bamba, absolutely not with 16 as well.

People really think we have a shot at Russell?

Not only can the nets offer him more, but they can match anything we offer. theres a better chance of ME playing for the magic than Russell, and before anyone asks, im in my late 30s, 5'8 and have a negative wingspan....and i still think theres a better chance of me playing for the magic then russell

I think we should trade for CP3 if Fournier and Mozgov can go to Houston. CP3 might not want to finish out his career in Orlando, CP3 could retire in Orlando and if he retired, All the CP3 money comes off the salary sap and we would gain a ton of salary cap space.

CP3 isn't leaving 40+M on the table to retire a year early dude will play or sit on the bench in a suit and tie like Mozgov and many other dudes who got overpaid during the cap spike

I think we can go two routes here:
1. Trade for Conley and resign Vuc and Ross
2. Renounce Vuc and sign a cheaper center replacement, use the cap space to go after Kemba or DRussell.

Trading Fournier for Capela only makes sense if the Magic has no intention of resigning Vučević.

On an expiring deal. But so will Be Fournier. No real benefit to the financials.

I don't think we have any useful cap space left if we renounce Vuc, but re-sign TRoss.
