Re: Around the NBA (4.0) *Non-Celtics Talk*
I hope we get AD for a good price, crush the draft, re-up Kyrie, and get Beverley or even Rubio on a taxpayer MLE, while the Knicks end up with John Wall and James Harden - the Lakers get Jimmy Butler, the Clippers get Klay and Kawhi, Durant says what the hell and goes to Dallas, Cousins goes to Brooklyn, Harris and Middleton stay put, but Middleton does one or two more years and a player option for the second or third. Vucevic goes to Atlanta.

Whoa lol
Should be the best off-season in ages though. There are about 10 all star free agents on the market, another 10 high caliber role players and guys like Chris Paul, Bradley Beal, Russell Westbrook, John Wall, CJ McCollum, Blake Griffin, Anthony Davis, Kevin Love and Andre Drummond should all be fully available if the right bid comes along. Could very well be a new era of NBA basketball..

Feb. 5, 2019 - Wizards to announce that Wall will have surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon.
I’ve heard that Wall might not be back for a while next season. Maybe not at all.

I didn't think it was tampering but the league thought otherwise. That should tell anyone that thinks that the knicks are talking to Kyrie, and so on. They can't. Only the celtics can legally talk to Kyrie without being fined for tampering.

Would be an awful trade as Horford > CP3 this past season. Also I do expect Hayward to be far superior to CP3 next season if given a fitting role and with a full summer to work out.
Good assessment:

I’ve heard the opposite, actually - he has some kind of bone spur on the back of his heel, had surgery for it, and in those cases they usually have to repair the tendon a little - but it’s not the same thing as an ACL tear. Prediction is that he’ll be back to normal.

That's not what we're hearing here in DC. They're talking about needing to draft a PG.

Oh Jesus - yeah, I only knew about the January surgery, which left him with a good prognosis - didn’t know he aggravated the injury in February. Grunfeld..

Terrence Jones got transported to a weird version of 80s NBA basketball. Can you imagine Bill Laimbeer and Kevin McHale doing celebratory dances after a scuffle?

you have to click the image to get the whole thing. It has @dloading at the bottom, which is dangelo russell's account. So i guess the insinuation is Russell to the Twolves somehow?

Ah. Thanks. I'm not a twitter guy so I wasn't sure what I was seeing.
