Freethrows don't count as a shot attempt, I'm not sure where you're getting that from.

FTs aren'ta shot attempt but they do use a possession.

and he translated that possession to points? You can't knock him for shots he can't even get up at times because he's fouled.

Not even close to Leonard lol

Kawhi Leonard these 2 games has been averaging 28/11/4 on 37%FG along with 3.5 TO's

Steph Curry: 28/4/4 on 40%FG and 2 TO's

How is it not even close?

Blasphemy. He's not tall and he doesn't wear Nike.

Iverson was short and he wasn't as good as Kobe or Jordan, therefore Curry can't be.

So much for today's era not playing defense, the two best offensive players in the NBA are proving that theory wrong.

I think raps messed up quite a bit, letting them go on that 18-0 and missing wide open looks but other then that, if Lowry can stop being an idiot on some of those fouls and refs not trying to take over the game, raps should be fine.

It'll be tough in Oakland though, usually, guys just shoot better at home so lets see.

Y’all have to be some of the biggest cry babies I’ve seen in history.. especially since the refs did everything to keep Toronto in the game & they still couldn’t make “shots” when it counts smh.

Btw as of right now on paper the Raps are more stacked than this injured Warriors team & they’re still keeping up with the Raptors SMH.. that’s why I felt Milwaukee vs Warriors would’ve been a much better matchup.

Lowry’s gotta be smarter. Terrible decisions down the stretch w/ regard to fouls. If he’s not moving the needle on the box score he has to use his brain

The best player on the floor is the one that's getting trapped at half-court literally every possession.

Haha seriously this. It's ridiculous the amount of attention he is drawing.

elementary analysts will never understand this and the impact it has on literally everyone else.

HBK is a hard Kawhi fan boy though so he's gonna ignore it.

Curry was **** to mediocre in tonight’s game. Green, Klay and Iguodala made important shots after shots. They were the reasons along with the team defense why the Warriors won tonight .

Ya the most stacked team ever had Quinn Cook play 21 minutes and in during crunch possessions at the end...

Let's just forget this isn't the same roster as the 73 win team and KD hasnt played yet and Klay missed the 4th quarter essentially. But ya most stacked team ever

Well I'm not hating on curry but in the Rockets series it was Draymond who was the MVP, in this series so far its Draymond who is the MVP. Am I wrong? Imagine Kawhi not being the MVP on this raptors team, they would get swept.

that's raps fans in the finals or game 1 of the preseason

at least they're consistent

Reffing was fine after the first half. Brutal, standstill offense to start the 3rd cost the Raps the game.

Underrated comment. If you had to bring it all down to the MAIN reason, this would be it. Even before Klay hadn't injured himself and with the reffing discrepancy in the first half I thought Raps were the better team up until then. Then the 18-0 happened and they crumbled. Warriors on the other hand adjusted and did what champions to do.

To be fair, this is their first Finals, and other than Kawhi the rest must've been pretty shook mentally on that run and that's what cost them the game.

He was impressive. I'm not taking back that he's a liability defensively despite the raptors not taking advantage of it. That was bad coaching and bad prep work by the raptors imo. That said the effort level for him was freaking awesome and I couldn't be happier to see it as I've been following him since high school.

How was Kawhi the best player on the floor? He shot 8/20 and looked like he missed every shot near the end when they needed a bucket. I would argue Cousins was fantastic this game almost getting a triple double and making some fantastic passes.

Kawhi was good though.

Bro, 8/20 for 34 points. As much as I love the Warriors, that's a hellova performance from Kawhi.

Kawhi hasn't even been that good defensively, he's not even taking on the best threat on the Warriors (it's FVV/Lowry)

and Steph plays defense.

Do you actually watch the games or just look at box scores?

LKN wrote:It's hard for me to take much away from that game - the reffing was so atrocious in the first half. It had a huge impact on who could be on the floor and how aggressive they could be. The Raptors did have an offensive disappearing act like they did against Philly several times which really hurt them; they certainly did themselves no favors.

I certainly will avoid watching any more games with Brothers/Foster officiating.... that game was painful to watch. If the NBA wonders why their ratings struggle sometimes games like tonight are a prime example. Terrible flow of the game and wildly inconsistent calls make for a very poor experience for fans.

At home. No KD. Curry was sick. And Klay left with 8 minutes to go. Looney left in the first half. Raps have to win this game. Period.

This has come down to raptors offense vs GSW's defense its obvious now. the raptors are getting overwhelmed by the warriors length, atheltic ability and talent. I don't care what espn has to say, Draymond is their most impactful player and by far the mvp of the team in this series. His plays is absolutely amazing.
