Now if we were to COMBINE their best attributes... THAT player... would be decent. You know. Not the best. But pretty pretty good.

Frank is actually known for making some really dumb/bad decisions. From careless passes to passing up good shots, he's had a lot of "wtf" moments throughout his career. Really couldn't say he's a better decision making than DSJ.

Watching RJ. He doesn't look good to me at all. I don't watch a lot of college. He looks like Timmy.

Also I really don't think Zion is tall, nor are his moves particularly fast. He's great in the fullcourt, which is overrated.

I would suggest to watch a little more Zion then. His quickness is actually one of the freakish things about him. He is super nimble/agile to go with his quickness and explosiveness.

The Knicks will finally get a chance to interview and work out intriguing 7-foot-7 Central Florida center Tacko Fall on Friday, The Post has learned.

The 23-year-old posted the highest marks ever for wingspan (8 feet, 2.25 inches), standing reach (10 feet, 2.5 inches) and height with shoes (7 feet, 7 inches). The Knicks did not interview Fall in Chicago and he will participate in a group workout.

biggest knock on him is that he's not an explosive athlete, but at 55, he's a steal IMO; great skillset, good fit at PF

If the pelicans were really smart and wanted to be must see tv they’ll trade us AD for the 3rd pick and whoever draft RJ then send Holiday to Phoenix for the #6 (Cam), future draft picks, and maybe Jackson. Just start completely over.

Honestly? Yeah I do think Smith Jr is a better decision maker with the ball. Smith is more instinctive than Frank and IMO you need your PG to be that. Doesn't mean DSJ is ideal but he is better making natural decisions with the ball in his hands. I get that DSJ seems to be an arrogant selfish unbridled guy but that doesn't mean he isn't the better basketball player. I think if you combine Frank's size and defensive bent with everything ball based from Smith is what would create the best 'combined' player.

As far as the 55th pick? Im looking for someone that shows the mindset and temperament to be able to find themselves a role in the NBA or that has the type of upside and toolset to fit in the NBA.

I'm not interested in solid college players that did well in the college game but that doesn't have the extra gear to will themselves into an NBA rotation or that doesn't have the physical tools or upside to evolve into an NBA player.

So like I briefly mentioned a few days ago, here's 2 of the 4 guys I'd focus on.

MFIONDU KABENGELE

The 6'10" nephew of Dikembe Mutombo is a ball of fire as a projected NBA PF. Every time I've watched FSU play it seems like Kabengele is in the middle of every play. He's aggressive, he gets himself in the mix if things, he's not afraid of contact, he shoots 3's and is an aggressive finisher on offense and fights defensively. His aggressiveness maxizes his physical tools (solid athleticism and very good length). Just listen to what some of the top opposing head coaches have said about Kabengele. Without question I can see Kabengele getting himself into a rotation as a key contributor.

JALEN MCDANIELS

If McDaniels weighed 10-15 more pounds he could be in the lottery discussion. McDaniel is super skinny and that will be his biggest challenge when it comes to the NBA but he shows a fearlessness that guys his frame tend to not. Can handle the ball, rebound (exceptional rebounder considering he weighs only about 190lbs), has the ability to create his own shot in the pick and roll, excellent feel for the passing game and is an elite finisher. At 6'10" he's projected as a guy that can play both the guard and forward positions. Again very aggressive player that has the potential to be an offensive match nightmare and top tier defender with his 7'1" wingspan, aggressiveness and quick twitch explosiveness. His shooting while not great shows marked improvement between his freshman and sophomore seasons.

I want guys that shows that type of fearlessness, confidence and aggressiveness that successful 2nd rounders have to have.

I was talking him up a lot ... right before he got suspended. The kid is extremely athletic and has that step back down pat. His dad was so talented.
