the suns will remain bad if those are the guys they're targeting at PG. Rubio would be a far better option for them than any of those listed. So would DSJ, especially if they wanna bet on potential

Frank sucks. And Knox. And DSJr. And Trier. And Mitch. And Dotson. And whoever they pick at #3 in 2019. And whoever is available with 5 first round picks in the next 3 years.

Those guys are nothing compared to the juggernaut that is Nets youth and assets.

I like your strategy. Keep the expectation bar low! Very, very low. That way, no disappointment.

I don't get it. Why not go after guys like Rubio and see if Dragic is available.

Man people on here and in general underrate Iggy so much... Frank will never be prime Iggy... not even close truthfully

All around? No. Iggy was basically a poor man's Lebron in terms of stat stuffing and playmaking in his prime.

Defensively though, Frank has the potential to match.

Which is what was referenced. Iggy, not prime but defensively the last few years, with some scoring.

That was such a wasted season. Frank was not developed, Dotson not given burn plus we did not put ourselves in a good position to land Doncic in the draft.

Hornseck wasn't going to tank that year in case he wanted to coach a different team in the future it was all about wins for him. Plus hornseck didn't want frank thought he wasn't good and had no choice to accept him because of phil jackson picked him.

I maintained then as I do today that Frank should have been assigned to the G League, at least, to start the season. I blame Phil, Jeff and their staff for not recognizing this. We had Sessions, Jack, and Burke to handle PG for what was a throw away season anyhow. Then again this season. Should've done this year too. Let him run the show in Westchester so he can develop that confidence he's sorely lacking and get comfortable with the NBA style of play ...

No sawce or anything but I guarantee when he’s off this team we’ll hear that he refused any G-League assignments they may have approached him or his reps about.

Oh, he can do that? I thought it was like baseball for players under a certain age or number of years in the league, whatever. But if I'm wrong, yeah maybe but, jeez, that's when the developmental staff has explained to him how this is what's best for his career in the league. He had CAA as his agent. Now he hired some French guy who I've never heard of.

Did Wily pull that on us?
Someone of note did...I don’t recall.

Yeah man I dunno, but he coulda played two or three games against inferior competition just to get his confidence going just going off the eye test. I don’t see how that would’ve hurt his “development” anymore than whatever the heck we’ve been doing with him the past two seasons.

Frank doesn’t seem like the type to say no to anything management requests.

So Frank as a sixth man that only comes in to guard the opposing best player in spirts?

Frank has to become consistent on the offensive end to warrant any playing time IMO.
