Vince Carter Announces 19-20 Will Be Final NBA Season

Vince Carter announced on The Jump that the 19-20 season will be his last in the NBA.

"I've got one more in me," said Carter on The Jump.

Carter will set an NBA record for 22 seasons in the league. Carter will be a free agent this offseason after spending the 18-19 season with the Atlanta Hawks.

Carter came into the NBA in 1998 and will turn 43 next January.

I would still put my money on him to win the dunk contest. I hope some NBA teams do some of the stuff they did for Wade and Dirk, he may have not won a title but he had an amazing career worthy of fan recognition around the league.

Actually he shot 38.9% from 3 last season. Maybe he has a better shot and the 3pt shootout?

As a Nets fan, as much as I would love to see him retire as a Net, I think it would make the most sense for him to retire as a Raptor, although the chances of that happening are slim if anything.

I always liked Vince. He had himself a good run and a great carear.

It will be sad to see him go. He will one day be in the hall of fame.

He said "the last time Vince was associated with the Raptors" which was in 2004 i.e. 15 years ago.

He also departed from the team in a **** way and has never wanted anything to do with this team since. It would seems extremely conveneint now that we've made it further than we've ever gone in the history of this team, for him to find a reason after 15 years to reassociate with this team/city.
