I went into this season knowing it would be hard for Toronto to adjust to Kawhi's way of play. I thought they would be a 2nd round exist at best. They are so different from last year, Gasol, Danny AND Leonard start now. On top of that, they have a rookie coach. The 'Heatles' were atrocious in their first glue together. But somehow Nick as created a Dynasty level team out of hands he was randomly handed at the NBA poker table. Nurse deserves a lot of credit.

You can only do so much when you are constantly sharing the floor with Green, Looney, Livingston, McKinnie ... none of these guys can shoot. They dusted off the box and 1 again this game because they aren't afraid of anyone but Curry. Imagine what would happen if GS tried that on Leonard? Wide open 3's for the other 4 guys on the floor with Leonard who can all shoot.

Context matters.

Evaluating individual impact is difficult, but I'll never understand how people can't make these distinctions.

Defense matters a lot to me. I just can't rank Curry, Harden, or Westbrook over James, Durant, Kawhi and Giannis. Curry's offense used to make up for the difference, but I now have Giannis over him as well.

Funny you say that. I was thinking earlier about making a topic on what I perceive to be forward bias. I think two way versatility is a bit overrated in superstars, but thats a discussion for another time.
