Kevin Durant Listed As Questionable For Game 5 Following Practice

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Sun Jun 9, 2019 10:08 pm

Kevin Durant is listed as questionable for game 5 of the NBA Finals after practicing for the first time since hurting his calf on May 8th.

Durant was one of the first players back in the locker room following the Warriors' brief workout, according to Nick Friedell of ESPN.

Steph Curry added that the Warriors would adjust quickly if Durant were to make his return.

"We'll be able to adjust in transition pretty smoothly. He's been in plenty of Finals and has played well. No matter what percentage he's at, I'm sure he'll be impactful and effective out there. But again for myself or anybody in our rotation who's been playing a lot of minutes, we just have to be aggressive and smart and competitive, especially on the defensive end," said Curry.

Questionable is a lower status than game time decision.

Kevin Durant will leave the Warriors just as he came: a loser

Maybe he’ll join the Raps now that he couldn’t beat them

Could just be a tactic Kerr is playing to try to throw the Raptors off, but one would assume if KD was able to play he would have done so in game 4.

Even if he plays now, the way it sounds he's still no where near 100% and could end up causing a bigger injury at worse or throw another wrench in to their offense at best.

I’d think listing KD as out would be a better tactic at this point, regardless of whether he’s capable or not.

Im guessing he plays tonight, albeit in a role playing 20-25 minutes. Raptors have to close it out tonight if they want to win series.

Yeah, 3 final appearances, 2 titles and 2 final MVPs. What a loser...

Two things. Nurse was a championship g-league head coach. Rosters change every five minutes in that league. He's not going to be suprised by any roster change. Kawhi and Kyle both missed about 20 RS games. The team knows how to be flexible.

Wait what? Finals MVP and he's a loser? LOL. They need Durant and this series proves it, not to mention the regular season where the Raptors were clearly the better team, while the Warriors had injuries out the wazoo. They aren't immortal. Durant is the difference between them winning championships and getting upset by Lebron / Kawhi
SELL THE TEAM, JIM!!! :curse:
