Re: Not all fans!
Yeah, absolutely disgusting reaction from the fans who did that.
Makes me ashamed to be cheering for the Raptors...and it's not fair for people to feel that way just because of a bunch of morons, but it's reality.
A disgrace on our country.

From an ethical standpoint, this is a slam dunk.

The only "purposeful" injury in this series is when Kawhi attacked Looney.

Re: Not all fans!
Allow me to play armchair psychologist for a moment. I'm guessing the majority of people weren't cheering for KD's injury as much as they were cheering at the realization that this is their time. A 3-1 lead against Curry, Klay, Dray and KD isn't a sure thing. Heck it's not a sure thing without KD. Sure there were some turds waving goodbye.
This was the equivalent of getting psyched when that crush you've been waiting on breaks up. You're not supposed to be happy, because they're goin through rough patch. At the same time this is what you've been waiting for.

The KD injury play where he slipped led to an Ibaka steal and fast break layup. Fans were cheering for that play. Not the injury. No one in the crowd knew what exactly happened until the whistle was blown and KD was supported off the court.
And i think all of that fans waiving their hands good-bye were also for ibaka's play![]()

Dude, stop with this nonsense.
Don't be ridiculous, they were waving because the moon is in it's first quarter phase, also the glare from the screen got in their eyes
Yup, and they also just found out one of the refs who stole game two from them took a fall from a horse.

What are the chances that a majority of those people know very little about basketball?

How could they possibly know he torn his Achilles? Much worse things happen in European soccer and basketball scene.

Re: Not all fans!
JP and inside the arena both reacting like that is wild. Rich, poor, middle class. Only cheering him after your own players yell at you doesnt mean much imo. Sucker punching random gs fans and girls outside...
Whole classy toronto thing is dead as far as im concerned. Some obviously awesome fans on the board, probably especially on the raps board (gb raps fans embarrassed themselves defending and deflecting, imo), but hard to ignore what seems like literally all sections at or outside the game doing something **** up.
Very surprising from a base who are supposed to be the gold standard. Maybe thats why its so jarring.

I mean, he did do it TWICE to Adams in that series. Along with other shenanigans.
In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.

It's not a matter of them knowing whether or not he tore his Achilles, they started cheering when he got up and started limping, that's when the cheering hit it's loudest point which is why Kyle & Ibaka told them to stop.
All they knew is that he was hurt and limping, they cheered.

Also, if I were a Raptor fan I definitely wouldn't go to Oakland for Game 6, somebody is going to get got in the parking lot or in the Town. They better have extra security on hand for that game.

Using poll in a board where majority are Raptors fans is the same like when dictators use the referendums to hide behind their citizens and tell it's will of the people.

What was the injury that was purposely caused there, again?
Hope you’re proud of supporting fans cheering a potentially career-changing injury with this bs.
