Please defend this, I'm waiting for the Fox News level spin.

Wow, someone saying "**** You" since when did that become a big deal?

Ahhh, thank you for proving my point.

Yall lost your damn minds if you think yelling "f*ck you" to a players mom is no big deal, but why should I expect anything else from a place that cheered a man's injury.

I edited my post. Masai Ujiri said "**** Brooklyn"

It's not nice, but no, it's not a big deal. You should grow a thicker skin. I'm sure Mrs. Curry's heard a lot worse from Ohioans.

Truly Fox news worthy, congratulations, saying F a city is the same as some belligerent **** yelling at Curry's mom 15 feet away. Instead of just saying they were pieces of trash, you defended them and said it's no big deal, and clearly Mrs. Curry was annoyed by it, but you know best.

Nicely done, I expected a lot and you didn't disappoint. With that, I'm out.

Why would anyone defend that? Dude saying **** you to her is an idiot, obviously.

Are you saying he taints the entire fanbase though?

I didn't say anything  , I asked him to defend it, and here you are deflecting for him.

He's the one bringing up other fanbases, if yall would just say "Yeah that was messed up" as a whole instead of treating this like you're a gang I'd stop posting. If Knick fans do something stupid I don't care, because that's not me and at the end of the day I wasn't jumped into being a Knick fan. Yall are literally acting like this is your set and you have to defend the block

That's because Raps fans are probably the most hated on RealGM, people are attacking the fan base so a lot of us are in defensive mode. Plus a lot of y'all are wrongfully placing the actions of some people on the entire fanbase.

It's probably because we have the most registered users out of all the fanbases (I think).

It sucks for athletes getting hurt, but they’re going to be 1000x better off than some guy booing who’s addicted to OxyContin and has a bad back. If I’m that fan, what do you think I spend most of my day worrying about: some athlete getting hurt or the fact I might not be able to walk in 20 years? I’m more concerned with what little enjoyment I’ll have in life.

Max is absolutely right. People watch sports to be entertained. As much as people don’t want to admit, sports and entertainment is a stress relief and escape from everyday reality.

Molly is emotionally right in that we shouldn’t act like savages, but she forgets that athletes are paid to entertain us. We don’t like players just because of personalities.

Ha. Enjoy believing people in Toronto are a bunch of **** but New York is full of nothing but polite and kind people.

I hope you have a good time watching the Knicks next year.

We actin' like Warriors fans wasn't cheering somewhere in Oracle when Fredderick Edmund Vanvleet Sr was laying on the floor leakin' when he took that Livingston 'bow to the face?

Come on, son.

Yeah it sucked that it happened but the media consensus is that this is not a blemish on the overall fanbase or city. It happened and they wrongfully cheered initially but then they realized the severity of the situation and quickly changed their tune.

I know the non Raptors fans feel differently around here, but it seems people are just trying to find a reason to hate at this point especially considering our large following on RealGM.

The truth is no matter how stupid it for some fans to do it, no one whos opinion matters actually thinks it reflects the full fan base and understand things happen in the heat of the moment. Everyone else is just looking for a reason to be mad. Kick rocks.

You may as well have posted this for your argument.

And this guy from New York is over here trying to take our city down a peg because some people said "**** you!" or momentarily cheered when a guy went down in no pain after just getting in our player's face. Priorities, eh?

Their fanbase is why I went from hoping they win it all to I hope Warriors beat them. I know there are good Raptors fans out there and there are a few very good ones on here, and I know people are gonna call me a troll or whatever they want. . . But from my experiences on here and looking at King Raptors fan himself, Drake, I gotta say that a lot of them tend to be bad fans. Passionate about their team, of course. But again, from my experience, they've been mostly disgusting to me personally.

There are great posters like Detective, Uncle Dennis, and others, so I don't want to generalize too much, but just wanted to point out why I would really like to see their team lose. Which sucks because the only guy I don't want to win a ring on the Raptors is Lowry.

Your entitled to your opinion but go check out drakes reaction to the injury or his post after the game..

I wasn't insinuating that Drake was cheering about the injury or anything, especially since he's good friends with many of the Warriors. I was just saying that he's a pretty big douche in general while he's at those games. And while I think what he does is great for the Raptors, as he gets in the heads of the opponents, I still personally think he goes to far.

To clarify though, I know Drake didn't want to see any injuries, I wasn't trying to make it about Drake. But to see so many people inside and out of the arena cheering on an injury is bizarre to me. I hope Magic fans never do that no matter what the stakes are.

So we actin' like Warriors fans didn't have the "LETS GO WARRIORS" chant going when FVV Sr was laying on the floor with blood leakin' after that Livingston 'bow to the face?

Let's talk about that.
