Kevin Durant Traveling To New York For Evaluation Of Achilles

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Tue Jun 11, 2019 5:11 pm

Kevin Durant has departed Toronto and will travel to New York for evaluations of his injured right Achilles tendon.

The Golden State Warriors fear Durant suffered a torn Achilles in the second quarter of Game 5.

Durant hadn't played since Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Best of luck to KD. Hopefully he won't need surgery.

Anything is possible. Just because a video showed his tendon wiggle doesn't mean it's a full rupture. I know how it feels because I'm recovering from a ruptured achilles tendon right now. I tore mine in February. I'm not even close to running. I'm just happy I can skip jog when necessary. If his achilles is torn then they have the doctors who are finding ways to get back to 100% in 6 to 8 months. I'm taking the long route. It probably take me a year or longer.

The time table i generally 9 to 12 months.but he likely strained it before and tore it now he will need surgery.. I hope he comes back and is himself but the guy will be under the knife

He's playing next season. Even with a torn Achilles. He'll be ready by late March. The treatment for these injuries arent like before. And he'll be a warrior to

I tore mine years ago and was able to run and jump after a full year of recovery. I lost some speed and leaping ability but was able to compete which I was happy with.

Now I’m recovering from spinal surgery and may never be able to run again because of the impact on
My spine.

Sorry to hear that. Get better soon. Keep the faith.
