Get well KD. Plenty of basketball ahead of you.

Speaking from experience, it takes a full year to “get right”, but even then, the ligament is still weak and susceptible to be injured again. It takes an additional year to get the tendon back to (somewhat) “full capacity”. By then, Kevin will be going on 33.

This is such a huge blow to the NBA as a whole. We're going to be missing the prime years of one of the best to ever do it.

I can only imagine how KD feels.

GSW team doctors just listed him as questionable. Bob Myers called the hospital and told KD his teammates could really use him, if only for 10-12 minutes. Or 40, whatever he’s cool with. Just be a decoy, maybe a few spot up jumpers. Nothing crazy.

New York is the right place to find those folks, KD chose to have surgery in the right town.

That sucks man.

I just hope he returns to something close to what he was. Even if it takes 2 seasons.

Hopefully in 10-20 years time we mention him along with Nique as the only players to recover well from this injury.

Can't say I've always liked his decisions, but it's undeniable that basketball means so much to him, and this is just too sad for words. I feel for what he's going through.

Hope he recovers quickly and back to full strength, big loss for the NBA with KD out. He is their top 2 or 3 biggest megastars.

That being said I am also glad we are done with Kerr's and GSW's bs. Day to day "he might play", "he's getting better", this is a "grey area" he might come soon. At least the amateur bush league will he wont he is over. GSW took a big hit on their reputation and how they've conducted themselves through this whole process.

****, I would rather the Warriors win another one with him than see him getting a ruptured achilles, especially at this point of his career. Hope he bounces back like Dominique did in the 90s

Dominique Wilkins ruptured his Achilles and then averaged 30 the next year.

But sadly, he's the only NBA player who didn't become a shell before receiving that nasty Achilles injury.

A shell of KD is still a 7 footer that can shoot from anywhere and block some shots. He's essentially has a floor of an ultra Gallinari.

Man that's horrible, I was hoping it would just be a partial tear. Big time loss for the NBA, a prime year from him just gone.

This is KD, you can't teach height and length. He'll still be a mismatch on the floor everytime. Did people forget he has unguardable shot?

I'm putting the full blame on the Warriors for this debacle. Blows my mind how he was instantly cleared to play after not even practicing for a month and a half. That's a trash organization.
