Fragility Matrix: 8. And, confirmation on this pretender team wasting an absolute mammoth modern mlb player with a shill pitching staff and questionable roster decisions.

So, you keep a worthless Aguilar on this roster and send an ascending bat to the minors. Check. Fail.

You trot out a Peralta, Albers, Barnes, and Burnes wrecking ball?

frustration is warranted but we're in first place having played a pretty tough schedule so far

it's definitely about time to give up on aguilar

I think my goal for the 2019 Brewers is to ride the ‘Fragility Matrix’ (thanks Kerb and Twirlz) night in and night out and to maintain, for the most part, an overly opinionated set of doubtful and frustrated takes? Right now, the fringe bullpen arms and Aguilar are my whooping boys. Followed by Shaw (who has somehow found his way to neutral Belgium after 4 bb’s and a dinger), Chacin, and 2018 Chase Anderson (it’s only fair!).

I actually think the rotation is about in the same spot as it was last year. The problem is that last year they found a way by the 2nd half to create an absolutely lights out bullpen to where all the starters/openers had to do was keep us in the game for 4-5 innings. I don't know that they can recreate that again to save us this year. Probably the difference between us being a dangerous wild card type team vs. a World Series contender.

There's a long way to go though. it wasn't all smooth sailing last year either and Stearns/Counsell managed to figure it out.

In a 162 game season there are always things to rag about. We're in first place 41% into the season. We may not end up there but I'll take it.

Also, today is the 12th anniversary of Verlander pitching a no hitter against us.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

What is better:
1. Send Hiura down to the minors for period of time (month or 2), bring him back and have another fully year of control?
2. Keep Hiura up and lose year of control?

Most if not all MLB teams would make the same decision.

Peralta needs to go down to the minors and develop another pitch.

What do you propose to do with Burnes?

Fastball Freddy is probably headed back to the bullpen when Chacin and Gio get back which is probably where he belongs until he can throw something other than a fastball with any regularity.

If you were going with a neutral country in WWI why not go with Albania? That country at least means something to this board.

Fair point. I guess I could say my post was for me. Kind of like when you post re: the Admirals.

Grandal has just been an absolute beast offensively this year.

Shaw is terrible. Arica is slightly less terrible.

Men on 1st and 3rd to take the lead...nah. Particularly tasty was Mr. Thames and his stunning 3 pitch K to close the inning. I am Bearish on these Brewsers. Feels comfortable.
