Think Baynes could have gotten more in the FA market. He's a great backup Center for many teams.

I think you are correct, but Baynes is not solely driven by money. He has bought into the city of Boston and I think he genuinely love being part of the Celtics and playing under Brad.

He is comfortably one of the better back up bigs in the league, who always gives 100% and is a great locker room presence with no ego or attitude

great value for the Celtics. Baynes must be happy with his roll in Boston.

He is a good back up when healthy. Dude had a torrid year with injuries this season.

There's been some rumblings he may go back to Germany.

Bad decision. He is injury prone and missed a lot of games. How in the world can stevens plan with a player who always have to struggel with injuries...
Baynes is apparantly rather a locker room guy who makes his teammates happy...

Really?
Why?
Is he unhappy in Boston because of his minutes?

Guy is pretty thin and can be bodied rather easily. Just depends on whether he just wants to be a NBA roleplayer the rest of this career.

It was Baynes decision, so how was it bad??? Celtics had no say, as it was a player option.

Yes, he had a bad year with injuries, but prior to this season. he has averaged over 76 games for last 4 years
