I dunno there’s a ton of centers on the market this summer. Not sure he’d get more as a backup.

He’s probably hoping to have a better healthier season this year and cash in next summer with a much leaner FA class.

Great news, I love Baynes. He has completely embraced Boston, and the city loves him back. Pretty good center, too.

I don't care if the Celtics don't get AD or Kyrie leaves...I'm content to root for a lovable, hard-working team even though they have no shot to win the title. Which is what all Brad Stevens-led teams (with the exception of this year's) have been about.

Really?
Why?
Is he unhappy in Boston because of his minutes?

Guy is pretty thin and can be bodied rather easily. Just depends on whether he just wants to be a NBA roleplayer the rest of this career.

The land of beer, brats and mustard. It’s hard to blame him.

Some day I shall visit the mutterland. 8-)

Does anybody have a source?
I've googled but i couldn't find anything. Even Woj hasn't wrote something about it...

Thought he could have gotten like 3 years for $21 mill total, or something in that ballpark. I'm a little surprised.
Great defender by some advanced metrics, great locker room guy, and has even added a 3-point shot. Terrific news for the Celtics imo, especially with Embiid in their conference.
