Parker liked a comment by skip taking a shot at kawhi and he also never shaked kawhi's hand post game raptors. Tony parker would be a top 200 player without Duncan-Manu and with those guys he's top 90 congratulations. Kawhi was better than parker by 2014, won a ring for him and this is the thanks he gives him, what an ingrate.

Like he said..nothing to see here    Dude liked a post on twitter congratulating him for the time he put in as a Spurs...He probably didn't even finish reading the whole comment..Im guessing Tony Parker has better things to do other than trying to be subtle taking shots at Kawhi...get over it.

And to say Kawhi won a ring for parker is just lies. It wasn't a collective team effort nope wasn't that...Spurs didn't play possibly one of the best brands of basketball we've ever seen that year surely couldn't have been that right!! No it was Kawhi the messiah the all knowing master of everything Leonard. He gifted Tony parker a ring.

People gonna end up hating Kawhi because of posts like this.

Lol Skip Bayless really?
So many people thanked him but the one he likes is the one where Skip takes a dig at Kawhi.

I mean
A) Skip has no respect from anyone with a brain. Why you liking anything by him.
B) Parker is a great player but yea a bad teammate.

Half of the tweet was bashing leonard and he still liked it. He probably gets thousands of tweets and the one he happened to like was taking shots at kawhi.

I'm not saying kawhi was a superstar or anything but he was still spurs arguably best player than. It was between Kawhi and TD. So parker rode the coetails of two better players to a title like he did his entire career. Drafting leonard helped spurs get out of their twilight years and end parker's prime with a ring, he should of been forever grateful to kawhi for that.

Calling this Parker taking a shot is just a load of BS that the crap suckers at ESPN and in the media would love to slurp up. They thank you and the OP for continuing to give them a reason to exist.

now lets get the championship

Poetic that KD went down? You must be one that cheered when it happened.

It's really not that serious, man.

Also, you do know that Tony Parker was the #1 scoring option (on that Spurs team while Kawhi was probably the 4th/5th option, right? Kawhi was the best defender on the team, but that championship was a collective team effort and one of the best teams we've ever seen. No need to make up lies about that.

This is petty by Skip and petty that we as a whole are so sensitive that liking a post that can be taken in different ways is a discussion

There's no justification for what kawhi did. It never will be. It was not a matter of rushing a player with an injury (which im sure any team would have solved with better communication ). This is not a comic book with heroes and villains. Kawhi and his uncle exploited a situation of misunderstanding and later self engineered miscommunication with one goal in mind: being traded to the lakers. Pop was even too good to him. He could have easily send him to a dysfunctional franchise. I understand what raptors fans feel towards their hero "how humble, how cute etc....". Enjoy the moment. You have every right to be naive.

Looks like they really did selfishly try and force Kawhi to play. Glad he stood his ground and glad he's out of that franchise and being taken care of with great care in Toronto. Players need to be protected.

Are people not looking at the other possibility here.
Parker is liking a post where Skip Bayless says, Thank you for everything you have done for the Spurs. Could just be that simple.

People are so sensitive these days. Who cares what Parker liked or didnt like? These guys are making millions and you are sensitive about some irrelevant Twitter post? Its ridiculous. I guess people who care about this are the ones who dont really watch the games and are more interested in the soap opera that the NBA has become in recent years.

So many wrong things going on in this thread, makes me question the level of knowledge of many posters...

- Parker made ONE mistake, that is sexting with soon-to-be divorced Barry's wife. Not the end of the world...
- Parker made the comment about Kawhi's injury because at the time : NOBODY knew what was going on, Kawhi NEVER communicated even with his own teammates and his coaches. They had a players-only meeting with Kawhi, just to know what was going on, it's that crazy. Thing is, Kawhi already wanted to get out at the time, and Parker comments certainly didn't have any impact on that.
- Kawhi never gifted us the '14 ring. That was true team effort, and no one was head and shoulders above any other. If I really had to pick one player more important than the others, I would say Diaw, because the so-called beautiful game wouldn't have been possible without him.
Also I don't forget the botched free throw Kawhi took at the end of game 6, after Parker's heroics (3pt tying, then steal, then go-ahead 2pts layup in a 30s span). Had he made his free throw, we would have been +4 with 18 seconds, and it was game over.

Ginobili missed the free throw too. Kawhi was your best plyer in 2014, not freaking Diaw, with all due respect to him. You disrespected the man as an organisation and he was right to leave.

Its 2019. It’s naive to think liking that tweet is meaningless. At the very least Parker knows it could be made out to be something. He knew what he was doing when he liked it.

Disrespect, like not sitting on the bench and not supporting your own teammates during playoffs games ?

Meh TP is gonna be forgotten about as a NBA player. Kawhi is actually gonna go down in the history books, especially if he wins this ship.
