Kinda the same. Funny part in all of this is that the Lakers are in fact the leverage. And everything I said is kinda true. I doubt Danny's even offering the MEM pick- imo it's Brown/Smart/14/future C's pick with slight protection. Griffin doesn't value Ingram or Kuzma even close to Tatum that's why they are using the Lakers to extract Tatum from us. Everything is pointing that way. I've been saying for basically a year that the Lakers young guys aren't valued as high around the league, and I'm being proven RIGHT at this very moment.

If we got AD without giving up Tatum and Memphis pick (and assuming future 1sts have some sort of protection) then we outright win the trad hands down, even if AD leaves. In theory, we could spin off Tatum and the Memphis pick for more depth or another star, not that I really want to move either. But in for a penny, in for a pound!

Exactly
Why do you say that as if that benefits the Lakers? If Danny adds Tatum, it's over he's coming here

Yeah why are we comparing Tatum and Kyle Kuzma

Celtics rumors having leaked because they're working a 3 team deal.

That's my only guess

LOL if NO takes Kyle F'n Kuzma, Cam Reddish (Lonzo gets traded for #6) and Darius Garland, if Ainge won't give up Tatum.

I would just like to remind the world that Lonzo ball shot 42% from the line last season.

After shooting 45% from the line his rookie year.

The 4th pick is not as good as Beal.

Plus the Wizards are without an actual GM. Hope they dont get Masai as GM between now and when the Finals are over.

Pacers could trade Domantas T-Rex arms Sabonis for the 4th, thats arguably a good gamble.

Atlanta wants to move up but I think theyd like to keep 8 and 10 instead of just moving up.

None of those traded will happen or something out of the blue might occur.

This just tells me that Griffin doesn't want anything that the Lakers have. Unless they go to a third team, which probably they're having a hard time to do.

Honestly. If we give them Tatum then that's all they get. Tatum and the 14th. (Salrly filler some how? 3 team trade/rozier sign and trade?)

I'd be ok with that if we could then turn around and use brown and assets to find us a needed 4th man to go with what is presumably a team also bringing Irving back.

Somebody call Amber Lamps cause HE LEAKIN'... this is Windhorst leaking for Klutch, not the other way around.

Think about it? Why would Griffin leak a low ball offer? This is Klutch trying to get Ainge not to include Tatum. They leak Ingram, Ball and 4, and they they're firm on no Kuzma with the thought that Ainge doesn't include much more than Brown, Smart, and #14. Ainge is smarter than Rich Paul though. I'm confident that he'll play this correctly one way or another.

So Griff wants us over the Lakers. Windhorst confirmed it.

Wait it out then. See what the Lakers gets from #4 being offered. If it’s nothing, see if you can pull a miracle and do it without Tatum.

That too 5 superstar doesn’t want to come to Boston. And if he is traded there, there is a strong chance he is leaving after his year is up. This is not like a KG situation back in 2008.

I don’t know about you guys, me personally, I don’t want to trade for a player that doesn’t want to play for my team and will have one foot out the door. I get risks but there are other risks to take with giving up Tatum, another young player and picks.

I wouldn't give up Tatum. I would give up Brown.

If it doesnt work? Oh well.

This is where I am too. If Kyrie was coming back or likely to come back or leaning towards coming back, I'd move Tatum.

Now, I think we should assume Tatum will be the central figure in a (likely accelerated) reload for the roster.

I just can't bring myself to believe this deal gets done without tatum. Danny is the man but that would make him a GOD. I would have to fly out to see him just to kiss his feet.

You think Griffin isn't telling Danny exactly what the deal is with the lakers?

Did we forget that Benson really doesnt want to send AD to LA?

I've been emphasizing this for a while. He really hates the Lakers.
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.

Well, think about it. This year 4 and 14 talent levels are very close together. We have more of them to offer, and each one of our trade chips is better than the Lakers counterpart even without Tatum.

Smart > Ball (Better defender, shooter and signed to a good deal long term)
Brown > Ingram (advanced stats and injury history show this)
14 < 4 (but not much)
Williams/Yabs(filler) 22nd pick, future picks > Kuzma
Tatum > everything above.
