He's said he'll stay if Kyrie is gone, he really likes it here.

But I see Ainge and him sitting down and going through his options still... Ainge does try and do the "right" thing by the players and they will totally have a discussion regarding the direction the franchise is going and if he wants to stay....if he stays what kind of contract or if he wants to ring chase the trade options.

I’d assume tho he re-signs if we get AD correct?

Yeah, I'll do that too. Regardless of who we sign this offseason.

Same— even if its Rozier.

Of course not. But as our 2nd best player

Unless we had a LeBron or KD, we wouldnt.

Plus, he wants to be the guy— its why hes going to the Nets instead of originally with KD to the knicks.

He couldn't get along with LeBron. KD might be the only one in the league who can keep his mercurial ass in line.

Horford would never opt in to go to the Spurs.

But I suspect KD and Kyrie is essentially KD and Westbrook all over...

Read on Twitter

Author of article paints a scenario where this could drag on until mid-July. If Griffin isn't impressed with any of the offers pre-draft and any of the potential #3 or #4 picks, he might just wait until free agency is over and teams who missed out on major FAs could come back to him with a better offer.

Let's see if Lebron/Lakers can wait that long.

Time for Danny to go and for us to embrace the tank. I'm not ready for the treadmill that awaits us with the current core of players. They're just not good enought to win a title.

We need to tank and find a superstar.

Of course. Brad's specialty is overachieving teams that have no chance of winning a championship. Perfect roster for him.

We had no chance of winning a championship with Kyrie as our best player.

That's not what Celtics fans were saying prior to the season.

Sounds like a rehash story as that scenario was thrown around a good week ago.

Seems like the best scenario for Boston. NO doesn't make the #4 pick for LA, and after the 29th, Boston can add a sign n trade for either Horford, or Rozier or Morris.

This is bonkers. You don't ditch Tatum and Brown and even Smart, at their ages, to tank.

The problem with waiting till after free agency for pels is if the wrong team strikes out. It looks like lakers will but what if they land someone and your left with the clippers who don’t have the assets or another team like Brooklyn with a so so package.

It’s def possible and they could wait but I don’t see that happening- I think the woj article yesterday got people expecting an expedited process but it’s just not gonna be that quick.
