I’m going to run amok on this site with your account LF. :D Not just this board. I’m taking you global. You are going to develop a devoted following of haters on the General board and you will meet all sorts of new and interesting people in places like the Knicks board!

I'm glad you two have patched it up....it's better to ruin someone via hot takes and glorifying poor ones than it is to bannish them into Oblivion.

In this thread is my current favorite horrible take guy. He seems like a very kind person, who just doesn't have eyes or a brain to work with. Lol

Some of LF's takes are shtick. I like schtick. It can get redundant but at least I know the tongue is placed firmly in the cheek most of the time.

Warriors failed to win championship. The warning signs were there from very early on: Careless turnovers, unwise shots, 3 on 5 offense, poor shooting, over-fouling. I know KD was out, but the warning signs were there even when KD was healthy.

Raptors were good, but Warriors would have struggled against the Bucks as well. Warriors are just very top-heavy, whereas the eastern teams have more balanced scoring. The Warriors rely more on hero basketball, hoping that one of their stars will get hot.

But the top heavy roster makes injuries that much more serious for the Warriors.

Hope I'm wrong but this may be it, their run. Even if KD stays and regains his all NBA form in two years, Warriors core will be approaching the mid 30s, as will KD.

The last 4 years the Warriors had key injuries, though fortunately most of them were late in the season or early in the playoffs and they only missed one guy missing one round at most.

This year the injuries got out of control and I suspect they will become more common since all the players have a lot of mileage on their bodies.

Now we have to keep our fingers crossed on Klay.

But the stars missing multiple games in the playoffs is likely to become more and more common.

Blaming the finals loss on injuries is very irresponsible. The fact is, the Warriors showed a lot of weaknesses even when they were fully healthy. Even in game 6, Warriors had the lead, and had several chances to win. Multiple turnovers and mistakes led to their loss.

1) Draymond Green has regressed tremendously, and is more liability than asset. On any given night, I think warriors would do better if Draymond played for the other team. Having Draymond Green on the court allows 5 on 3 defense. Its not even fair, and its embarrassing at this point. No post skills, no shooting skills, no penetration ability.
2)After this season, with the mess that warriors are in, I dont see Durant re-signing. Without Durant, it will be hard to win.
3) Core players of the past are past their peak. Iguodola and Livingston are not the same anymore. Klay Thompson may return to form next season, but I dont expect a big turnover this season. Again, the biggest reason Thompson is playing poorly this year is because teams are ignoring Draymond to guard Klay extra tightly. And without Javale Mcgee, there is almost no offense in the painted area. Javale really opened up the court more than anybody would expect, and it was a huge mistake to let him go.

The only hopes at continued success this year I see are:

1) Cousins comes back and is at least 80% of his former self. I view this as unlikely. Steve Kerr even said Cousins isn't close to being in form.
2) Warriors sign Brook Lopez and bench Draymond Green.

Raptors were just a damn good long and athletic defensive team. They took Draymond out of the series unlike Houston and Blazers when he looked unstoppable against them just 2 weeks ago.

Draymond is still that same great player as long as the splashbros are around him. If KD is not back, him and the splashbros are still gonna come out of the west easy next year. I don’t see a great team in the west coast. Top of the East is gonna be tougher depending on Kawhi and what he does.

Lol this guy

Raptors got 2 free wins in the series. There’s probably a 10-15 teams in the league that could have beat our short handed team in this series.

Next year is gonna be tough, no klay and no KD. Iguodala and Livingston another year older. If cousins gets payed somewhere he is gone. Unless we get a whole bench full of decent ring chasers, Im not sure we make the playoffs if im completely honest. But of course we will have to wait for the timetable of klay and kevins return. The year after that Im hoping we can attack again.

Crap. I lost this bet to Little Digger. I’ll stick around through the offseason but will have to sit out 2019-2020. LD will be the use of this account to make terrible and embarrassing posts that I’ll have to spend the rest of my realign career living down...**** Danny Green

Clippers made the playoffs. Curry and Green are far better players than anyone on that roster. Resign Looney.

Warriors sneak into playoffs Klay and KD get well ahead of schedule and warriors are contenders

No thanks, I have zero interest in running Curry and Dray into the ground again for a fools gold playoff campaign. This is one of those moments for the adults in the room to grab the wheel and pull us off the road. Let the hunger fester for a year while we finish rebuilding the Death Star.

My friends law firm paid over 500k for theater seats a huge bump. Many paid more and we don't know concession cost. You can't have a tank innaugral season.

The high-end suites on the low floor that came with first-10-rows seating were sold for up to $2.5 Million. Definitely a rough investment.

I kinda agree. I would play Steph and Draymond 30 to 34 minutes a night with off-days every 6 or 7 games. If the Dubs make the playoffs, good for them but no need to force the issue because you don't want 2 guys going out when 2 guys are coming back. Next year might be a year to work on a few different things team and player wise.

With any investment, there is risk. You might lose a bit the first year but hopeful than can make it up in years to come.

At least Lacob sounded realistic about next season. I was a getting a little worried he was becoming a Jerry Jones in the making.
