Uhhhh... I get that we are all mad at KP. I am too. But this is crazy. DLo is a question mark - I wouldn't sign him for the max. I would sign KP for the max tomorrow and think we had struck gold.

KP is 7’3 off a torn ACL, never played 60 games, and is facing charges.

D-Lo just carried the nets to the post season and blossomed into a all star caliber player. How isn’t he a winning player and he’s young and fits what we’re trying to build. If you have a chance to get him you do it

Ok. I can say it now.

I like Nas and Sekou or Cam in a trade down.

Not that I'd do it but those are my guys. I do like Barrett if he can be who people thought he was from HS.

Anyhow, the Suns' front office is interested in Mudiay. :D

No, it'd still be ARE because of the implied verb-subject agreement, in that there are many people considered to be "sunS." If you had said "the suns franchise is interested," that would be correct because the franchise itself is singular.

Aren't I, however, also implying the existence of the franchise itself when I simply write "The Suns [franchise] ... " Thus, it would be "The Suns [franchise] IS interested in ..." I believe I've consulted with the world's most foremost authority on the subject.

I was hoping to lure you out of Grammar Cave. The ol' "Implied verb-subject agreement" trick. Is there a rule on when to imply and when not to imply?

Net posters wanting to keep DLo over going for Kyrie are the equivalent to Knick posters last year not wanting to trade Porzingis for Kawhi.

Sounds good except dsj instead of dlo

I like DSJ so I won’t be mad, but DLoading adds to the core at 23.

I like Dennis too. But we are not in the 80s or 90s. We need 3pt shooting.

That’s a reach. He was picked 2 picks in front of us. We didn’t have a chance to “almost” draft him. It’s not like he was sitting there at 4 & we chose KP over him.
We ALMOST drafted Mudiay in 2015 though.

Thats an irony.

I am trying to undertand why we are discussing Dlo in the draft topic.

Charges aren't serious or he would've never been traded, I think KP with a decent supporting cast and minute management could poosibly bring a team to the next level. Dlo is the type of player you replace (preferably by trading him to some sucker) to get to the next level.
