Does this mean we are drafting Russell with the max?

If the Knicks decide that the top FAs are off the table this summer do they take on salary for pick(s) in this draft or is it too weak and it's better to get future ones? It seems like it may be better for get future ones because those drafts will be stronger and they are tradeable assets until then.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

by trading up with the Grizzlies. obviously the Grizzlies would have to be willing to move down, but the Hawks have plenty of draft capital to make a good offer

Not enough for that much of a move

Like, I wouldn't trade down from 3 to 8, no way the Grizz drop 6 spots when the odds you get a top 2 pick is like 28% at best
BaF Lakers:

Darius Garland/Cory Joseph
Klay Thompson/Shaedon Sharpe
Keldon Johnson/De'Andre Hunter
Evan Mobley/Tari Eason
Nic Claxton/Draymond Green

Bench: Leonard Miller, Jett Howard, Markquis Nowell, Kennedy Chandler, Day'Ron Sharpe

Can't believe the draft is only in 5 days. A lot can happen with NO. I just want us to get RJ at this point.

Grizzlies could be w/o their 1st next year tho via the Celtics, so maybe the would want to restock, I doubt it, but the thought crossed my mind.

I dont believe in trading down in the NBA draft, hoping the Grizzlies feel the same. If I were them, I'd use #2 on Ja, flip Conley for a pick; plenty of PG needy teams; I doubt he'd fetch 6 or 7 b/c of his salary, but maybe IND at 18

The Post seems to think this is a possibility. If they do, we need to bend them over and pillage their assets.

What would be enough to give them RJ?

They don’t have enough imo.

Edit: actually, if they and Phoenix were willing to do a 3 team deal with Phoenix getting Jrue, and us getting #4 n #6 with the Pels getting #3, I’d prob listen. Garland and Hunter for RJ basically... I still dunno.

True... I edited that lol. I’d consider something like I posted/edited above, but dunno if I’d pull the trigger on it.
